Telling someone to "shut up" when you don't agree with them - the tactics of a 3 year old! Of course the aggregate should be over two lots of 15 heats, so why all of a sudden should we drop 5 off the Ipswich home leg? That's not the 15 heats which you just said should be used! Oh wait, I know why! Because it suits you! We would take you on over 15 heats at your patch, no problem, but your promotion can't or don't want to do that - so that's something you should take up with them rather than trying to invent rules so you can have your cake and eat it! Somerset may beat us in the final, they may not - but one thing's for certain - Workington won't win the league cup this year as we knocked you out of it. ^^ This!

These extra 6 heats we've apparently ridden - were they not against Workington riders? So you're wrong, Ipswich and Workington have ridden the same amount of heats - 15 at Ipswich and 9 at Workington - but 26 heats raced between the two clubs, Ipswich were on top after those 26 and have been declared as the team worthy of going through - would it of been right in your eyes if the team losing on aggregate at the time of the stoppage went through?! Why should the aggreate after the same heats be used? Why should you erase 5 heats from the records?

Fool? For having an opinion? How would I know who's the favourite to win the Rye House rider of the year? Still, I guess that's reason enough to call someone a fool..... Nice attitude you have there. Which was made plainly obvious.....or not -

Who said he was on loan? I said he rides for another team - which he does, Somerset. The sport is in a sorry state if a rider of the year for one club goes to a rider who rides for another club -

And as only one of them is a Rye House rider it can only be one for you! Sums up the state of the sport when a rider for another team gets the fans votes for their rider of the year!! -
Nobody is forcing you to go Bad of Ipswich to not decide the teams in the league and arrange a fixture list to suit their fans! Remember Kings Lynn were meant to be in the PL before taking SKY's blood money I don't have to tell you anything, not my job. I'm being objective, lets say I'm being a "realist" shall we? And you think I'm sickening? I can only assume you don't have any mirrors in your house (under the bridge with the rest of the trolls)

Please tell me how the fixtures and competitions brought up by the BSPA have anything to do with Chris Louis? Once again bringing John Berry's name in to try and add weight to your side of the argument is distasteful, let the poor man rest in peace!

Ipswich V. Workington Lc S/f 20/9
Ipswich Jules replied to Pere Ubon's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Only a fool would expect Taylor to come back and start hitting big scores straight away, he suffered a bad break in his arm and was thrown in at No.1 due to the way the averages dictate team structure, he was never going to score well under those condtions and as a result I'm sure his confidence suffered. I would say that bringing him back when nobody else in the team had a higher average was a mistake and should of been left until someone was over 6.90 but that didn't happen. But last night was encouraging to see the old Taylor Poole back to doing what we know he can, he is the Australian u21 champion don't forget - he's more than "a mascot" as you keep disrespectfully calling him - yes he's popular with the fans, but since when did that become a bad thing in speedway? I'm pretty sure there is more than meets the eye to the Doolan thing, he's hinted as such in the Speedway Star recently about how he now feels wanted and how he should sever some ties, now I don't know for sure what went on but whatever the problem was it was reflecting in his scores and performance on track. -

I genuinely have no idea what you're even trying to say Nothing to do with Doolans scores for Ipswich for a lot of this season? I suppose we should sweep all that under the carpet because he got a max the other week? Don't make me laugh! How many did Taylor score last night? More than Doolan got in a lot of his Witches meetings this season!! Troll on troller! -

Should I go and find some of your quotes about Doolan from earlier this season? As 2BBH says, you might well be part of why he didn't like the atmosphere here if indeed that's the case, I know he reads the forums.... -

Just think - if you had actually had the balls to go and speak to Chris at a meeting, as you were advised to do many many times, he might of told you that himself and in person - imagine how well respected you'd be then? You, the great Aljack, the "realist" who knows the real deal - I reckon we would of carried you around Foxhall on our shoulders as if it was the coming of the new messiah! But you didn't bother to go and speak to Chris did you? Too much of a coward. Maybe if you had of mentioned it to him he could of seen the error of his ways and conjoured up a heatleader and somehow managed to sneak him in to the team despite how it would put us over the limit. Oh and we wouldn't of been able to celebrate your greatness as you clearly don't go to Foxhall to watch speedway and are almost certainly not a Witches fan. If I didn't know better I'd say you were another alter ego of KKS / THJRacing / Kris but even he has more speedway sense than you, remember last season when you wanted Heeps brought in to the team? Can you remember why that didn't happen? I expect we all can!! -

Ipswich Jules replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
When we finally work out who it does support I will send them my condolences, as he's certainly no Ipswich supporter. Yeah because Ipswich didn't give him enough time to sort out his poor performances and bikes that looked as slow as anything I've seen at Foxhall all year. I really don't mind if he doesn't want to ride for us again, the loan money will come in more helpful than his scores of between 3-5 per meeting. -

Nobody has agreed with what you've been saying all season, mainly because what you've been saying is we need a genuine out and out No.1 and 2, good scoring second strings and potent reserves - well, that's not rocket science is it? But because of how speedway teams are built then that doesn't happen, when asked who you would drop to accomidate your "genuine No.1 and 2" you wouldn't give an answer saying that it's not your job to! So I'll follow your lead for next year and say that to win the league we need two riders over 8.5 points as heatleaders, we need 3 riders who average between 7-8.5 each for the second strings and a couple of 4-5 point riders at reserve, should do it. If the Witches promotion don't deliver than then they've clearly failed, they're not interested in the club, they are earning a fortune and putting out the cheapest team possible......right Aljack? -

If he can get his EL average down to 5.25 he will convert to 8.75 in the PL, can that much drop off in time with what remains in this season? -

Ipswich Jules replied to cowboy cookie returns?'s topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We didn't have the starting No.1 with a average of 8.5-9pts but we certainly had the riders who we could of expected to achieve that, certainly Doolan was one with Poole and Risager being the next two likely candidates to push for that. Obviously we know what happened to Taylor and Morten at the first meeting but like has been said Lanham was brough in quite soon after and he also should of been pushing for a 8+ average. But for whatever reason Leigh and Kevin didn't seem to push on, Leigh said in the press he didn't want to be at No.1 which didn't help as it just seemed like him and Kevin were both trying to drop their averages to get away from being at No.1 so you had our two riders that should of become out "genuine heatleaders" both seemingly trying to get away from it - this is what has cost us this season. We started with a team that was built in depth but had clear potential to soon have one or two riders over a 8pt average and still retain that strength in depth - that's pretty much the holy grail for speedway team building - but we were let down by Doolan and then Lanham. Lanham has recently shown that as a No.1 he CAN cope with it and CAN excell at it. I have heard that he is on Louis tuned engines since his two Sean Wilson ones blew up at Leicester a little while back and if that;s true then it's been a revelation for Leigh, he seems a lot quicker, a lot more confident in his machinery and seems to be able to pick and choose where he wants to put his bike now. Whoever is doing his engines now should keep doing them, he looks a different rider from that he was riding for us after being brought in after Taylors and Morts injuries! So at the risk of being "rose tinted" Chris is both right and wrong - he's right that having no out and out No.1 may of cost us in some meetings but he's wrong that it was down to the team built at the start of the season (if that makes sense) as we could - and should - of had those 8pt + riders in Doolan and then Lanham. -
For someone who claims to a a "realist" you seem to ignore a lot of facts!! We are currently in a play off place: Fact Edinburgh may have more meetings remaining than us, with all of them at the mercy of the Autumnal weather gods there is no guarantee that they will get any or all of them in: Fact If they do get some / all of their meetings done there is no guarentee that they will get the necessary points to overtake us before the cut off: Fact It looks to be in their favour I'll give you that, but at present we are in the play offs and they are not: Fact We have two league meetings left, one tonight against Newcastle and one away to Berwick, where we won earlier in the season by 22 points in the KO cup, a potential of 7 points for us: Fact Edinburgh have to go to Newcastle where they lost by 19 in the PL cup earlier this season and away at Rye House where they were losing to the Rockets before rain abandonned the meeting: Fact Yes they could still lose both away fixtures and win their remaining three home ones and even with us taking maximum points against Newcastle and Berwick they would still pip us by one point, but what if one of those home meetings is rained off? What if two (which will actually be all three thanks to the double header tomorrow night v Rye House and Glasgow) are rained off? Is our Premier League season over? Not if you look at the FACTS But as you claim to support Ipswich I'm surprised at your rather anti-Ipswich stance for us reaching the play offs? Unless of course you don't support the team with the Witches on their kevlars? P.S. Clowns are considered entertainers, they very very rarely portrait factual events in their performance, they are also well know for being very sad and lonely individuals if you care to read about the origins of comedy (as I have) - So the "clown" moniker seems to suit you perfectly!
