Spot On, Vic! What's wrong with getting behind your riders and cheering them on, as the vast majority of British Speedway Fans seem to be able to do. It's only a miniscule minority of Forum Members who seem to think it's clever to bag their own; sadly it's a very vociferous minority. Personally I'd like to see the top four Aussies in the GPs.

Just thank your lucky stars you're not Australian, Philip. We put up with it on a daily basis on here, but we're determined not to let the antics of a small but extremely vociferous and misguided minority get in the way of our mutual enjoyment of Speedway.

You can clearly see Holder is in front when he hits Pedersen, after Pedersen has tried to put him on the centre green - yet another instance of him riding into other riders rather than racing the track. Correct decision; all four back - simple as.

No match between Oz & GB is a non-important fixture, Robbie me ol' mate; if you don't believe me ask the riders involved. Seems strange that reading updates it sounded like a good meeting all round: Ben & Josh & the lads trying their guts out for youse mob and as usual everyone growing an extra leg once they pull on the Green & Gold.

I'd have to agree with the sentiments of the above quote and preceding posts - last time I was over in Pomgolia I spent a very enjoyable few hours at Redcar and was most impressed with the enthusiasm and amiability of the Bears' supporters. On a lighter note, is there any limit to the number of commas used in one sentence? I think sidewinder1 may have exceeded his quota!

If I'd been at the Cricket all day I doubt very much if I could manage the walk in half-an-hour, due in no small part to the sheer Verticality of Auckland - think Sheffield meets Edinburgh - it took me nearly an hour to scale Wellesley St to get to Femme Fatale! I got there in the end but - a Happy Ending for sure!
