For one Tai doesn't drink so a celebration drink is more likely orange juice or something like that. As the season in Sweden, Poland and the GP'S are finished then it is a shame that he is not riding in this meeting as he has been treated well by the club and fans over the years and if he is to miss next season over here this would be the perfect chance to say thank you. He has this season seen his good friend Greg Hancock win his third world title by yet again riding just in Poland, Sweden and the GP's while based in Sweden. Next year I expect Tai to do the same with the SEC added. You can't blame him for out growing the league here and anyone in the same position would probably do the same so Good luck to him.

CVS and Pete Adams spoke those words about Tai first and Freddie has a good chance of staying in the Top 8 as he is joint 7th at the moment with AJ and Batchelor his closest threats just one and two pints behind but it will largely depend on which Jarek Hampel turns up on Saturday

2015 El Single Race Night Wednesday
INCOGNITO replied to Falcon Hammer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It will only be in the Elite League if they did go with one set night but there could be a compromise with Sky by having half the fixtures on a Monday and half on a Wednesday which would allow tracks more chances of a guest if required while giving the riders like Woffinden, Janowski, Iversen etc the one night a week they want. MONDAY; Wolverhampton V Coventry and Lakeside v Swindon WEDNESDAY; Poole v Kings Lynn and Leicester v Belle Vue following week MONDAY; Belle Vue v Poole and Swindon v Leicester WEDNESDAY; Kings Lynn v Wolverhampton and Coventry v Lakeside -
CVS spoke openly about Jason talking to him on more than one occasion. He has admitted that other riders have spoken to him in the past also about joining Wolves and while some have come to the club he hasn't signed them all. No doubt words were passed between the two, but most likely in an informal manner and while CVS said he believes Jason has matured well in recent years and calmed down from the person he was, it remains to be seen if Wolves talk anymore to him as they already have a number of riders around or above that ability that they will look at first. Wolves have always tracked a British rider though and if as expected Tai isn't back next season, Jason Garrity would be high on the list of targets. Regarding Tai, it will be interesting to see how the next 10 days unfolds for him and where he sees his future. He has his final GP of the season on Saturday and then Wolves have their annual Olympique meeting on Tuesday night and he has his "Evening With Tai" on the Friday. With Iversen / Ward unable to ride in the play off finals on Monday and Wednesday, would he not be the obvious rider they would want as a guest in the final. He will no doubt be back in the GP's next season and if he isn't riding here, he could also ride in the SEC. He will again be at Wroclaw next season in Poland on Sundays and also Vetlanda in Sweden on Tuesdays where he could be based like Greg Hancock is and riding on the set nights only without the flights and hotels

Top 20 Riders In The World 2014
INCOGNITO replied to waiheke1's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
updated to the end of September 1 Greg Hancock 12.82 = SWE / POL / GP 2 Tai Woffinden 10.93 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC ? 3 Darcy Ward 10.75 = SWE / POL / GP (if allowed) 4 Emil Sajfutdinov 10.72 = SWE / POL / SEC 5 Krzysztof Kasprzak 10.70 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC ? 6 Niels-Kristian Iversen 10.37 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC ? 7 Nicki Pedersen 10.22 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC 8 Peter Kildemand 9.99 = SWE / POL / GP ? / SEC 9 Chris Holder 9.84 = SWE / POL / GP 10 Bartosz Zmarzlik 9.64 = SWE / POL / GP ? / SEC ? 11 Jason Doyle 9.57 = SWE / POL / GP 12 Martin Vaculik 9.57 = SWE / POL / SEC 13 Matej Zagar 9.46 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC ? 14 Jaroslaw Hampel 9.37 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC ? 15 Janusz Kolodziej 9.02 = SWE / POL / SEC ? 16 Piotr Protasiewicz 9.01 = SWE / POL / SEC ? 17 Thomas Hjelm Jonasson 8.88 = SWE / POL / GP ? / SEC ? 18 Grigoriy Laguta 8.58 = SWE / POL / SEC 19 Andreas Jonsson 8.45 = SWE / POL / GP / SEC 20 Piotr Pawlicki 8.43 = SWE / POL / GP ? / SEC ? All 20 of these riders could be missing from the 2015 Elite League if they secure GP and or SEC places which makes you realise how far this country has gone downhill in terms of power. 20 years ago riders fought hard to get in a team but now they are turning their backs on it due to the amount of travelling, race nights and costs needed to compete here rather than in leagues or events that have fixed race nights. British Speedway can't afford to get these riders back and has to be looking at a more stable and financially secure future featuring the likes of Troy Batchelor, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls, Chris Harris, Kenneth Bjerre, Davey Watt and Jacob Thorssell who want to race here and on a regular basis. -
TORUN 9 Jarek Hampel 8 Andreas Jonsson 6 Adrian Meidzinski WC 6 Fredrik Lindgren 50 points = A run off to be held for a Top 8 place

Elite League 2015
INCOGNITO replied to Aaron Reuben Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Six main body riders with riders listed three to six each having one ride with a fast track rider. The rider at number six can replace a rider at any time during the meeting like a reserve and only rides alongside riders, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and they have to be British and stay at that position all season. Still has to be one night a week if you want to keep some of the star riders to attract crowds as stopping them now will be too hard to replace in the first year -
Elite League 2015
INCOGNITO replied to Aaron Reuben Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Mondays have to be part of it for Sky and Fridays are unlikely if you are going to include GP riders or SEC riders Mondays with the occasional other night would be more beneficial for everyone -

Wednesday or Monday are the two main ideas but Sky want Mondays and speedway need the money they provide -
Elite League 2015
INCOGNITO replied to Aaron Reuben Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Danish leagues do have foreign riders but only a few and are not seven man teams. The Elite League faces changes but I think they will do the usual thing of saying it's a five year plan and ditch it after two or three years. -
Life Of Tai - Monday Nights Off?
INCOGNITO replied to TheReturn's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If fans want to see the likes of Woffinden Holder and Iversen ride here it would have to be on Monday's only. This however creates a problem for tracks that need to hold roughly 20 home meetings so the best answer would be to run the team with the top riders being replaced by National League rider's in a different competition. -
Wolverhampton could be holding a Britain v Sweden meeting next season It's called the press and practice day

Bees Vs Wolves Followed By Storm Vs. Cradley 26 Sept.
INCOGNITO replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Interesting how there are so many double headersof late but they sstill continue with a fixture list next season of 28 matches in 30 weeks and still can't get them done in time -
Hampel Harris Lindgren Zagar Lindgren overtake Iversen
-
Tai Woffinden planned on riding for Wolves in 2014 but when it was announced that it was increased to 36 league matches he had reservations as he had already signed up in Sweden and Poland plus the GP Series. With the forthcoming season being 28 matches I don't think he will feel he can fit them all in and stay on top of his game so I feel he has little choice but to miss out Britain in 2015
-
Cilla Black and Tim Rice have their main houses abroad and Paul Daniels also has a house in Europe so they did move in a way. Tai does want to ride in Britain and at Wolverhampton but he can't do them all and if he can't do fourteen of the twenty eight meeting's then it would have to be Britain he will drop next year as he can compete against the best elsewhere and for much better money and a race night every other day basically.

2015 Gp Wild Cards
INCOGNITO replied to arnieg's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Presuming that Iversen falls out of the top 8 then you have Hancock Woffinden Pedersen Kasprzak Zagar Holder Batchelor Lindgren Doyle Harris Janowski IVERSEN has to get one but can't see Ward being available and Satfutdinov has already declined and Laguta turned down last year and don't think anythings changed So the last three in my opinion should be KILDEMAND then another Swede in JONASSON with the last place going to either Zmarzlik or Piotr Pawlicki from Poland being selected. JONASSON or JEPSEN JENSEN sorry -
Bomber has been very lucky to get to the GP Challenge Final but once there he grabbed his chance with both hands and hope next year of the fifteen starters he can improve on 16th place

Zagar Kildemand Jonasson Andersen Kolodiej Doyle Between those six hopefully. Then it's up to the FIM to decide who replaces Zagar if he qualifies. Should be ninth in the series but could be fourth here -
Race For The Play Offs 2014
INCOGNITO replied to Sienna Ryan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It wouldn't surprise me to see Eastbourne get a double victory at Belle Vue on Monday if they are looking at Ricky Wells as a guest as he scores well there Would that see them sneak a play off place ? -
Lindgren Bjerre Hampel Zagar Bomber to get more than Woffinden Hope you got the message for the previous round
-
Can't see the Elite League making changes that will suit the likes of Tai and other top riders and that will most likely mean Tai will have to decide if he wants to do Britain or Sweden and it will be a surprise at the moment if he drops Sweden. Lasse Bjerre is a Peterborough asset but I know he loves it at Wolverhampton and would like to be back next season but so would PK Proctor and Wells .
-
If everyone in the Wolves team had ridden like Pawlicki then the other teams would be riding for second place. Agree about Lasse Bjerre as he is averaging seven a match for Wolves but he isn't owned by the club so perhaps he would be the ideal second string with Proctor as plan B (not the singer) Let's see if there is an Elite League next year first and if so the limits on building a team but Woffinden has to be the priority due to commercial influence and an average just over seven a match.

Elite League Draft - 2014 - Success ?
INCOGNITO replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The riders in the draft system that appears to be doing well have virtually averaged the same in the Premier League as last season so in that aspect it hasn't worked However getting more track time has seen Jason Garrity do well in the British Final and Kyle Newman has been in great form and beating good riders If they have the talent then it will work but overall you can't compare it if they are mainly riding against each other. Next year should be one draft rider and one British reserve loke Garrity or Blackbird and the format changed to just one reserves race which should see them being tested a bit more. At the end of the day the Premier League should be doing something like this with National League riders instead of employing foreign riders that season after season haven't progressed to anything like the average they first appeared on.
