It would have to be taken from his Premier League averages this year which ended just under six so his assessed average should be around 4 which at reserve in time would be decent. Not if he is a second string as he scores well there and if he'd did move up a good rider would be at second string so at least it covers that situation. Think Wolves will be watching the situation at Swindon very closely
-
Why should you want three fast track riders instead of two Kasprzak and Larsen certainly want to ride in Britain again and with Harris Garrity and Robson would form a decent five with Robbo dropping to reserve with Sarjeant but who would be the missing rider with about 5 left ?
-
No I was more thinking of Konopka or Dilger or many other riders that start on an assessed average of 5 or 7 but only get 3 and fill up the places that should be considered for British riders. All that has to be done is stop them dropping below that average but only use their real average for team building. (Stop teams replacing them with another 7.00 rider) Danish meetings are not as frequently run as Britain and Iversen doesn't do many there. So the costs of extra bikes and running costs plus mechanics would be worth travelling through the night on a Sunday to ride here then through the night to Sweden. If by being not so fresh in Poland and Sweden means two points less in both leagues he would lose more money dropping those points than he would earn here even before considering the overheads. Woffinden Pedersen Hancock Hampel Dudek Sayfutdinov Pawlicki Zmarzlik and many more don't ride here now and if it was one race night you may see these riders here but two or more race nights is not what they need for the rewards they could get by riding here As for the 2016 team and it could be a very Australian and Scandinavian look to it with Doyle Lindgren Andersson Thorssell and Klindt as the top five and a reserve that could surprise a few when announced. Not saying that is the team but may not be far off the mark
-
It is hard to create British talent when you allow foreign riders to get a 3.00 average and take the places that should be for the National League riders looking to progress
-
In the averages there was three riders miles ahead of the rest and already Maciej Janowski has declared himself out of British Speedway next season as he aims to build on his GP career. Jason Doyle has said he won't be back at Leicester and on 9.44 and Iversen just under 9 the next highest is under 8 points a meeting and it could be difficult to accommodate riders on such high averages. Freddie Lindgren on 6.11 has to be considered as the one rider to keep from this season's team and it looks like PK is not planning on coming back. Jacob and Ricky are fine at home but poor away scores must put any places for next season unlikely and a move for Andersen or Schlein should be a better rider if the team are to pick up points away Could Swindon being unsettled mean Zengota, Batchelor or Morris be looking for a new team instead of hanging on waiting

How Many El Teams In 2016?
INCOGNITO replied to Bradford Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Will it be an Elite League or one big league under a new name ? -
By all means plan on Holder Watt North Dudek etc but Poole could be the only team wanting or able to field a team in the Elite League as it is now. Whatever the limits are next year it will still see Ford and Midlo putting together a title chasing team.
-
Sam Masters wasn't far away from the rostrum on Monday and could see him finally getting a chance at Monmore Green but if it was going to one big league surely he would be a heat leader and would they sign him and be able to keep Lindgren Thorssell and sign Andersson. Ashley Morris could be heading back and Max Clegg seems to be well thought of at Wolverhampton. Paul Starke would have to be considered as he goes well here and has had a great year in both leagues.

Thought this thread is WOLVERHAMPTON 2016 not Woffinden 2014 Get over it for Christ sake
-
Tai had a bad 2014 season Get over it and look forward to next season or should we start a debate about Neil Evitts coming in on a 6.58 and leaving just over 3 despite being at reserve. It happens and is history. Move on
-
A few things posted on here need putting to bed. Tai rode in the Gorzow GP this year and scored 18 points on a bike he used every week at Monmore Green in 2014 so hardly sub standard equipment. Britain holds no appeal to most of the top riders so why not blame Pedersen for coming back as he lives in England or Hancock for not riding here. The wages in Poland for these riders is in another level and one ride there can be the same as a high score here. Kasprzak has been reported in saying he wants to race in England again but where does it say with Wolverhampton ? One big league at Premier League standard looks like the best option and if it means no more GP standard riders and more young riders then so be it. Will be interesting what some Swedes do when there is a clash of Thursday night matches ?

Davey Watt and Dakota North as heat leaders next season with Newman and Gomolski backing them up ? Seems to be the way things are going for next season as the Elite League crumbles into oblivion
-
Bomber made the statement he is open to offers for next season when asked where he will be next year at Monmore Green tonight. Is he looking at getting out while he can or just a basic answer to speculate. Either way it seemed to be very much that teams will not be as strong next season and if Bomber stays he should be number one with Garrity also a heat leader. Get ready for a watered down Elite League or one big league with 20 or so teams
-
Joel Anderson showed up well and looked at home on the track and should be useful asset next season and in the strength of teams that are being talked about Freddie Lindgren should be a good number one. It looks like being a very different set up next year and it looks like it's either one big league or an Elite League made up from affordable riders that can commit to a season of 20 home and 20 away matches. Rumours go around and possibly four or five of tonight's line up could be the basis of the team next season that could point to one big league with a limit around 42.50 set up from Premier league averages But that is just a rumour that appears to have some sense to it when you consider how some tracks are struggling and top class riders are leaving the shores to race abroad. Britain could have gone for a strong Elite League run one night a week or combine with the Premier league and it looks like the Elite League is about to be buried.
-
While there is going to be speculation on who is going to be the new number one next season it has to be seen if there is even going to be an Elite League in 2016. Swindon have lost their stadium and work hasn't even started on a new one next door but new houses have gone up next to it. Lakeside are likely to close and while Kent are to take on their licence it doesn't mean they are going to be in the Elite League at all. Speedway has to have a major change but it will probably just change a few things that are not important
-
Peter Karlsson to join Coventry then Think the only rider that should be considered for next year is Fredrik Lindgren on a 6.11 average and while Ricky has had some good scores for the same average you have Dakota North and Kenneth Bjerre who can score away from home.

When can changes be made at the latest date as I think Poole could be looking at a change while they are still allowed
-
Tai has had a number of offers to ride here recently but his calendar has been a key to his success this year in the GP's. Now he has a 24 point lead he may feel riding here in the play offs could be done just like Greg did with Poole a bit ago but it would be more to help a friend than be looking for a new team
-
Wolves look like they could be finishing the season with four riders holding a 6+ average and Tobiasz just under 5. Jacob looks like finishing with a higher average than the 6.25 he started on just ahead of PK and Ricky just over six and Freddie just under seven. Freddie next year has to be a must unless he is in the Grand Prix series and if they can get two riders above seven it should be much better next season even though it looks like the two new heat leaders would have to be on loan or bought as Tai and Piotr would be unlikely
-
Dudek and Larsen have rejected offers recently and show little interest in Britain at the moment but a bag of money may persuade them once it's mainly Monday play offs left to ride.
-
Poole getting the pick of opponents has made it look like a Pirates and Robins final to me and that would be great viewing if it goes to the last heat at Wimborne Road. Bees need to bring in one or two 6 pointers if they are to challenge the inform teams and get Garrity fit.

Elite League 2016 - What Is Required?
INCOGNITO replied to 1 valve's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
As next year only Wolves would be a Monday track and no team a ride on a Tuesday because of Sweden and not many cam operate on a Sunday due to Poland. That leaves little room for movement with the other tracks who are in the Premier League happy with what they have by and large. Getting the two leagues to work together is the big gesture stumbling block ahead. -
Aaron Summers is far more capable of getting 4 or 5 points than Krcmar but it must be by converting his current Premier League average rather than his 4.72 average from 2013 otherwise he doesn't fit in. So now they have one Pole, one Brit and 5 Aussies in the seven man team and could be soon changing their name to the Swindon Kangaroos.
