The way they are looking at the moment when the new averages come out it could see the number one slot being Josh Auty. Simon Stead 6.70 should do well but they need a good rider alongside him.
-
1 Jonas Kylmakorpi 2 Sam Masters 3 Jacob Thorssell 4 Fredrik Lindgren 5 Mikkel Bech 6 Kyle Howarth 7 Max Clegg Freddie will take over the #1 jacket when he is in the team's top three. Away from Monmore could be the downfall again
-
Simon Stead is very likely and would be the number 5 and if they can get Bjerre at 4 it should be a reasonable home team if they can get a number one. Gollob would be great but only for promotion rights and think that a more likely signing would be an experienced rider like Protasiewicz

There was a question asked before about Wolves also run in the Premier League as well as the Elite League Cradley of course have since moved back but it looks like they are running in the Premier League under the name of Workington. Ricky Wells, Kenneth Hansen, Ty Proctor and Matt Williamson line up with ex Cradley Adam Roynon. Good way to keep the assets busy
-
Or over 6 Is 5'2" big enough

Doesn't matter who you support you should be able to post your views on any thread as long as you can without causing trouble or to provoke

Walasek and Wozniak so far and no real prospects of anyone significant to be the number one apart from possibly Simon Stead doubling up seems to be a make up the numbers type of team again. Maybe riding Fridays could entice a decent signing looking for extra rides but most are happy with just Sweden and Poland so it means looking at a rider who only rides in Sweden or Poland maybe. Tomssz Gollob only has Poland lined up for next season and would be a rider to boost the figures turning up but even in his swan song he would cost dearly
-
Isn't there a new rule that if a second string is missing through riding elsewhere, he can only be replaced by rider replacement
-
Poole have a top four others can only dream about and with Kurtz they have the best 5th rider who could be at reserve if Newman moves up. Swindon have the big name in Doyle but not sure if they have enough to challenge Poole but the team morale will be unbeatable with five Australians. Belle Vue should be up there chasing but of the rest it's hard to see another team apart from Coventry being in with a chance of the play offs. Lakeside could be the dark horses if Coventry slip up while Wolves, Kings Lynn and Leicester appear to be non runners
-
The only doubling up riders should be the reserves and if you are good enough to ride in the Elite League you move up or stay down.
-
So Tomssz Gollob can start as a second string on 6.49 ....... depending on _________

Peter Karlsson would be the ideal choice if you had 5.55 left and it was 2006 but he is now at the age where he looks to be settling down to a regular race schedule in Sweden and Poland only but may come to Britain if required for a period of time. Can see the reasoning in signing who they have but can't see this team matching the strengths of Poole and Belle Vue and Swindon look like they will also be strong with two good riders backing up the clear top rider in the league. Coventry have a good top two if they can get the Kasprzak of old and Woryna can settle down with Garrity likley to challenge for a heat leader role. Wolves could surprise a few but to do that Lindgren needs to be back towards the scoring that made him the leagues number one rider three times and Thorssell can start scoring away.
-
There are currently only 18 riders listed as heat leaders from an original list of 37 so some teams will start with 1 or 2 recognised heat leaders.

Firstly you can't stop EU members looking for work here and putting a limit on foreign riders but it could be done that they never go below their starting average and this would mean all reserves are British. There are too many riders come here on an average they are never going to reach and soon after they are riding at reserve on a 3.00 average. If they start on 7.00 then that is what they stay on but their real average is used if they are being released to stop them being replaced by another 7.00 mistake. This would ensure there are 3 or 4 British riders in each team and give opportunity to the National League riders to get a team place in the PL
-
New riders coming in on a 6.50 are classed as heat leaders Riders returning after missing a season that have a average over 6 also become heat leaders. So Leon Madsen 6.10 would return as a heat leader for example and certainly a rider on 6.75 would too
-
Lakeside are unsure about the venue Swindon are looking at a year in the Abbey waiting for a stadium Coventry said they could share with Leicester but that would only be temporarily as they look That's 3 of the 8
-
Przemyslaw Pawlicki at 6.75 would be classed as a heat leader as would any new or returning rider with an average in excess of 6.00 Holder and North look like the most likely combination but will Holder be at Poole or Britain next season ?
-
Emil Sayfutdinov not interested unless one night but can many clubs afford him and I don't think some of the others like Vaculik would come likewise unless it is sharing a position Putting 2 and 2 together and getting 7 it could be looked at as Cradley having the premium fixtures in the Premier League and Wolves struggling to get the crowds for the Elite League with some teams looking doubtful for 2017 already. Either make a short league of the Elite League or drop it all to Premier league level and get 22 teams involved for weekly action but this would mean no space for two teams at Monmore Green !!
-
Lets get this right as Tai was speaking about the views of the other big names possibly riding here and they wouldn't want Mondays as it would be 4 meetings in four days in different countries. However riding in an Elite League on a Thursday would be the best night for these riders to do Poland on a Sunday then Sweden on a Tuesday then Britain on a Thursday and the GP's on the Friday and Saturday. Next year we could see some riders sharing a position but the best way of getting the big names back is running 7 or 8 home and the same away which would mean those clubs also ride in other leagues on other nights. This has been suggested before on here and it looks like the only way a club will be able to get a season full of fixtures and get the best riders back. Otherwise it's stay as it is and slowly lose the best riders to other countries. Make big changes or slip into mediocre levels ?

Keeping the same format is a massive mistake and while the races will be a bit easier with no Iversen and Janowski etc the fact is heat leaders will still have races where 0 or 1 has to be scored and second strings will still have easier races and even may have a time at reserve. Last season we had riders like Dakota North and Jacob Thorssell that had averages moving up and down more than a Bilston Prostitutes knickers and despite being a sub 4 rider at one stage Jacob finished as the top Wolves rider on 6.18. North was averaging around 8 but finished at 5.91 and PK was top of the averages at the start but finished with a 5.51 average which is lower than Wozniak Summers Lawson etc This needed a new format and the number 6 needed to be tested more Rolling averages are there to be used and picking riders that struggled to score in the final month or so keep those scores most of the new season where as a rider like Jacob finished well and will have those scores still on his average for months
-
Theo Pjiper did that once and was a flop but at least he kept calm Read between the lines and you could see the possible answer. PK not in the main plans but also not sure if he wants to return BUT maybe used if they get stuck. That sounds like he doesn't want to ride here but will be available if needed and not looking for another team place. Admission prices are up last season and heat leader is no longer getting 13 points so less to pay out may make the books look good but crowds were clearly down on a number of matches and I think the concern was if Cradley are doing well, where are the clubs heading if Cradley want to move up and Wolves struggle to get fans
-
The format has not been changed at all so you will still have reserves out scoring heat leader and second string doing well until they move up to heat leader. The number 7 stays at 7 all season while the number 6 can move up. Averages are published every two weeks. There are 18 heat leaders but they don't have to be at 1 3 or 5 and those positions are taken up by the three highest averaging riders. At Wolves and Kings Lynn the chances are that Lindgren and Bjerre will start at 4 even though they are in the heat leader list.

Finished the season as Swindon s top rider and on 7.79 only bettered by Doyle
