Forget Sundstrom and Grajczoneck then use the 12.74 to release Kurtz from the number one position and Jakobsen riding in the main body with a new reserve to partner Covatti. 1- new number one 2- Jakobsen 3- Woryna 4- Klindt 5- Kurtz 6- Covatti 7- reserve capable of moving up

It's not fantasy and is an option any team would consider as he is not only entertaining but also capable of being one of the best in the league. However including Piotr would mean no return for one of Jacob or Rory and one is almost part of the family and one considered by the management as the backbone of the club on and off the track. if he is looking at Britain as a way of getting more meetings then he will surely be a target of another track if Wolves don't take him on or could they use him as part of a swap deal with another club ? Whoever they get they will have a solid top four all capable of good scores and in Becker and Howarth they have potential to improve and without much pressure. Basically they hey have exchanged two mediocre riders in Jonas B Andersen and Nathan Greaves for two Internationals of Nick Morris and Luke Becker which is a big improvement on the 2018 team that lacked back up to the top three.

No meetings in March with April the starting point and with only 12 league meetings to fit in plus a few cup fixtures they want to miss possible postponed fixtures early on. Of course they fitted in 12 last year before the cut of date didn't they !!!

Swindon deciding to bring back Doyle means they will almost certainly be losing one of their heat leaders in Batchelor, Musielak and Morris and Tobiasz has won the Rider of the Year and be a big suprise if he wasn't back. That leaves Batchelor or Morris and the latter being more of a bargain and Batchelor could be off to Ipswich or Peterborough which makes more sense than having a top heavy Swindon team. However Nick is very Midlands based and many feel a change is what he needs. Personally while he would be a good signing, Wolves may be better served with Ricky Wells 5.77 backing up Masters, xxxxxx and, Thorssell and with Howarth and Becker already signed, including Wells would leave about 4.5 for the last place and if Jake Allen fits he would start at reserve with Becker. However Swindon may see him as a good signing with Doyle back. POSSIBLY - Morris and Morris OR Wells and Allen

It came in last year and this is why Martin Vaculik eventually started on an 8 point average and not 9 as first thought. Any rider that had been in the GP Series in the last three seasons and didn't have an average in Britain OR had an average below 8 but never rode the previous season here would start on an 8.00 minimum average. Don't know where you can find a link but that was the ruling they eventually settled on.
-
Piotr Pawlicki 8.00 as rule is GP rider in last three years and that's the figure he would return to Wolves on once he decides which leagues he is going to ride in just as another rider would who is looking at more meetings.
-
Sam Masters 8.11 KYLE HOWARTH 4.84 (4.96) - Jacob Thorssell 7.25 - - - NUMBER 5 - Rory Schlein 7.92 - Wolves or Ipswich ? OR Piotr Pawlicki 8.00 - Return or Not ? Klindt, Musielak, Proctor, Wells - sold in recent years so unlikely to feature. They have said two of the signings are ONE rider returning to Brotain and ONE New rider which could be Pawlicki and Becker but could be Kim Nilsson and Ricky Kling. RESERVES - Ashley Morris 3.57 (3.66) - If at reserve all season ? - Luke Becker 4.00 - Everyone wants him - Tom Bacon 3.04 (3.11) - Panthers asset, Wolves favourite ? - Could Howarth start at six ?
-
To qualify to ride in the Premiership the rider must have achieved an average of three or a Championship average of 4.50 or more. Simon averaged 4.27 in the Championship while in the Premiership he was on an assessed 3.00 average so he does not qualify in either case to ride in the Premiership next season
-
Simon Lambert does not have an average to qualify for a Premiership place so won't be at Peterborough
-
Shamek was in talks with Poole last year, not Piotr and they are awaiting a reply as he sorts out his Swedish contract if he is going to ride there. If he doesn't, Britain may fill the gap. Would be one of the best riders in the league if he returned but think he will end up doing Sweden again. Masters, Thorssell and Howarth (new GSA has him now at 4.96 without deduction) all look certain and with one old and one new face likely to join them, they obviously have a clear indication which way the team will be built. Old face is a rider that has rode here before but not recently (not Pedersen) and Pawlicki could be under that bracket, but so does Matej Zagar, Kim Nilsson, Andreas Jonsson and a few others. New face could be Becker, Bernzton, Kling or any newbie
-
Morris and Bellego dropped more than most and Musielak dropped too but all three can be bargains and Swindon only lost out when they folded late on but with others having to lose riders, strengthening the reserve berth that has to be improved would give you a good 1-7
-
Wouldn't be suprised to see any from Schlein, Andersen and Nicholls be in contention and maybe a return for Jack Holder ?
-
Pawlicki was in the GP (just leaving) when the rule came into force and Kildemand had only appeared due to injuries to other riders. Adams only said on Monday night Pawlicki has been contacted and they are waiting to see his reply. He may well say no, but he is a rider that gives full entertainment and would be a big scoop if he returned as he hasn't had enough meetings in the last two seasons. Nick Morris was rumoured a lot in September but Swindon have to strengthen their team and releasing a rider under seven points a meeting that could add two points to that figure would be a big gamble foe Robins to release him.
-
Must be tempting to recall Doyle and had there have not been a rule on all riders having to have a real average of three points it would be easy to fit him in but that ruling makes it a bit harder to fit in a big number one and have a strong tail end. With Batchelor, Morris, Musielak, Ellis and Bellego they have a solid top five and it's unlikely Zach would be pushed into the top five but would be able to pair up with a decent partner like Berge and if reductions are enough Jake Allen possibly could fit in at reserve. Batchelor, Morris, Musielak, Ellis, Bellego, JAKE ALLEN ?, Zach

Maybe before thinking of getting meetings on a Bank Holiday Friday you may have to think that if Poland are running that day, they have priority and think you will find with their TVs deals there will be a number of foxtures that day.

Kildemand wasn't a GP rider he was merely a stand in reserve so didn't come into the grading even though he rode more GPs than many others. The ruling is still in place so anyone wanting to sign either Pawlicki or Holder will have to get them on an 8.00 assessed average. Think after the the management had their meet the fans night it's pretty clear Sam Masters, Jacob Thorssell and Kyle Howarth are likely to be kept on for next season as three of the four they said would be returning. Will the next be Rory, Ashley or Nathan, well it doesn't look to be JB Andersen and think Nathan is a rider they are looking at giving him a year in the Championship and could be looking at Tom Bacon more as a number seven as Peterborough are looking at riders to improve their team. One new new and one returning rider was the description given by CVS as two of the riders they are looking at and Pete Adams was quick to clear up that Tai, Freddie and his dear friend Nikki won't be in any team plans in this country, but did admit they have already spoken to Piotr Pawlicki and awaiting a reply. As as for the new face, most will want it to be Luke Becker but Joel Kling or Mateusz Tonder just are not in the same catergory and Ashley Morris is a better option if Becker can't be tempted. 1 - Sam Masters . 8.11 2 - Kyle Howarth. 5.06 3 - 4 - Jacob Thorssell . 7.25 5 - Pawlicki or Schlein 8.00 6 - Luke Becker 4.00* 7 - Tom Bacon . 3.04 Ashley Morris or Nathan Greaves could be instead of either reserve and the remains place therefore could be anything from 6.41 - 7.75 depending on possible reserve pairings (Becker/Morris - Greaves/Bacon)

At the start of 2018 all riders that were GP riders in the last three seasons would be set at a minimum of 8.00 if they hadn't ridden here in 2017. Therefore Woffinden 7.03, Pawlicki 7.23, Zagar 7.55 and Holder 7.16 were the only ones affected but as Holder rode here in 2017 he could keep his average. since then Shamek Pawlicki has gained a GP place (now gone) and would also come into the new 8.00 bracket as should Chris Holder having not ridden in 2018 here. So these riders, Kolodiej, Lindback etc would be 8.00 minimum if they were to ride here. As for Kling and Tonder, can't see them being anything better that what we have locally. Kling shows up now and again in Sweden but overall would be nothing more than a decent reserve but lost in the main body. Tonder however is a very young lad at Zielona Gora who at 16 looked to be a hot prospect. He was given rides st the end of 2017 and had a few good rides but mainly struggled. This was the case this season and only averaged around a point a ride at reserve and isn't ready for the Premiership here and is about the same standard as Sebastian Niederwicz who rode in the Olympique

Maybe the fairest way is top four into a play off league where each team rides each other home and away where it's 2 points for a win, one for a draw and 0 for a loss. At the start of these matches, top starts with 3 points, second with 2 points and third one point giving a reward to those that have done better up til these meetings.
-
Why is this still in the Premiership pages ?
-
If you went to squad systems here then yes riders would want signing on fees but most would want a guarantee of how many meetings there are assured of having too so they wouldn't be there just for injuries

Thursdays - Use them or lose them!
INCOGNITO replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
They only moved up because the new owner just happened to need two clubs to replace the two that saw the light and got out. -
Pretty sure Pawlicki would be under the ruling they bought in last year that made all GP riders that were no longer riding here at least 8.00 and therefore Vaculik cam in on an 8.00 average. If he isn't doing Sweden and Britain is on Monday and Thursday it could benefit him having 24 league matches plus a few extra between weekend commitments and would certainly be one of the most entertaining riders in the league. Just because Ipswich have moved up, don't start thinking Rory won't be back as he clearly likes riding at Wolves and think he may choose Monmore over Foxhall if he is given the choice.

Berge at 7 would make a decent number team and will be better with Morris and Bellego sure to have better results
