  1. May just have to take a punt with that top three taking a fair chunk of the points allowance
  2. I read that as well....but then got 38 in my head. I think as Champs Swindon should have a 3 point building advantage
  3. Come on then, I'll give this a bash with a Swindon feel.... 1. Nick Morris - 8.87 2. BWD - 4.67 3. Quality New Foreign Rider - 6.00 4. Justin Sedgmen - 5.64 5. David Bellego/Tobiasz Musielak - 7.37 6. Zach Wajniecht - 3.21 7. James Sarjeant - 2.20 TOTAL - 37.96
  4. Has it been used in Denmark? Potentially with squads so they can utilise either 1 x A, 1 x B and 2 x C or 3 x B and 1 x C. Could be way off, but I'm sure it was something along those lines
  5. Plus at the time of signing Musielak, the points building limit had dropped to 42 points rather than the original 50 point limit built to which took account of the 1.2 multiplier to bring the league's averages into line. For example, at the time of signing Musielak, Poole had Zengota in their declared 1-7 on his 2016 7.79 average. They didn't have any wiggle room to change things with a 42 point limit, but Swindon did and made the most of it.
  6. Re-arranged or not, I think the Premiership and Championship always takes priority over NL fixtures. Could be wrong though.
  7. Of course, a change in structure could change that. In my previous post I was responding to the inference that the top league is only concerned with itself and the rest can sort themselves out. 'The rest' has, for a long time now, been a larger group than the top league and so has been able to vote on decisions to suit themselves best at each AGM.
  8. As the BSPA is a collective body of all Promoters from all tiers I don't understand how this can be the case. With matters being voted on, the second tier can outvote the top tier as it has more members.
  9. Again, I don't understand why there is a suggestion of this.....the only reason BWD is missing Friday is because he's riding for Peterborough. Otherwise he would have rightly taken his place in the Swindon line-up. Monday he is available and will ride. Hopefully no falls on Friday to present even more false speculation
  10. Wherever it is being generated, bs is still bs. BWD is missing Friday as he's racing for Peterborough....not a hint of him missing Monday other than what is being posted on here. As a Swindon fan, I'm sure I'm not alone in preferring we track BWD...not exactly done a bad job in the main body of the team all season. The way you're going on you'd think he had not been scoring points.
  11. That's true, maybe Aarnio can step in if he's still not fit. One of the better replacements we've had for him whilst out injured
  12. Probably the same as he was thinking prior to Monday.....taken from Swindon's preview "Bradley Wilson-Dean is continuing to be assessed but hopes to return at No.6" If he's not fit to return I hope Rosco has done his job again and lined someone up in advance
  13. Exactly, and I think most Swindon fans (and prob Rosco) would rather see BWD in the line-up. Through blue tinted glasses that is seen as Robins fans defending getting a replacement in.
  14. If dealing with sure things and facts....BWD called Rosco this morning to pull out
  15. Wow, this thread took a busy turn, some desperation in these Pirate posts! Think we'd be stronger with BWD in personally, but if he's not fit enough to take 5 rides (as was the case yesterday at Peterborough) then Newman is as good a replacement as we could have got. Bearing in mind BWD has achieved a higher average than Kyle whilst racing at 3&4 all season, some of the comments really are laughable. Brightens up a grey afternoon!
  16. Was in discomfort racing yesterday and didn't take an R/R ride because of it. I guess it's a case of not wanting to risk it unless fully fit
  17. Whoever qualifies for the Playoffs, there will be no easy route to the final. Should make for an exciting few meetings for sure
  18. Doesn't look like they've been scrapped, just dates swapped with the Prem Final, possibly to give the Championship a chance to do their Playoffs? No way would they have been completed in time for 2nd October
  19. Agreed, should be straight back to the start if called back.....pit gate should not even be opened
  20. With Semi-Finals starting on 11th September I can't see how they'd put it back any further.
  21. Any potential change to this fixture would have meant you losing call on Grajczonek and Wright as well as it would have become a re-arranged fixture! That's what happens when you sign 3 doubling up riders who all race for other league Clubs on the same night.
  22. With Somerset entering the running for 4th spot, I would imagine they would also provide big crowds against Swindon home and away. Be interesting the see what happens with Cook following this altercation....more than likely just a bit of handbags
  23. Pairs website already stating Doyle has a prior commitment in UK, so Jason will be at Swindon. Jablonski called into Team Boll in his place
