Reliant Robin replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Both Club websites also have the change....assume announcement of fixture changes is imminent -
Belle Vue -v- Swindon Monday 17th August

You replied to a comment about what common sense says....so following that trail my reply is what common sense would suggest...not what actually happened. I thought it was just last night's referee who couldn't keep up with proceedings. -

Because he'd missed the 2 mintues in the re-run. Belle Vue deserved the win last night, happy with the point gained by Swindon. Still all to race for -

I'm definitely not wrong on this one....rent is chargeable once public are admitted. I believe there is a nominal charge on food in the restaurant if it gets past 4pm -

There's no Rent until the turnstiles open at 6:30pm and I very much doubt they get money back on booked flights that are not taken at extremely short notice - would need to be called off the day before for any saving there. How's your weather doing :-) -
Krcmar beat Howarth twice last Thursday, so signs of improvement are there. Always a good meeting when Coventry are in town, could go either way

His mechanic had left his kevlars in the workshop and so Batch leant him a set of his

Could make Belle Vue v Swindon in August key
-
If that gain means getting into the Playoffs then quite possibly, yes. People have changed their tune very quickly from 'we need changes...NOW' to 'Oh, maybe we're not that bad'...even between Monday and Thursday. If we want to make playoffs then we need to win away. To win away we need a change and this looks like the only option

King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July
Reliant Robin replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole are usually Swindon's biggest draw also.....Swindon v Poole is £10 on 13th July -
King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July

Indeed, the scoring system is much better and one of the more positive changes. Only half of meetings carried a bonus point on them whereas all meetings now have that point available. As Grachan has said above...preferred the staggered points for the home win by less/more than 7 -
What makes it underhanded? Makes no difference at all if replacing 2 riders as is being suggested as have to re-build back to 34
-
Why are they cheating if Adrian now won't come back? Withholding his services some may call it

Swindon - Wolves 2nd July 15
Reliant Robin replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Agreed....I'd take any win personally to get some momentum back -
Meeting co-ordinator works for GSI/Sky Meeting Steward is an SCB Official
-
Agreed, I think it'll be Howarth personally...I guess we'll find out soon
-
So "thought to be willing to sacrifice Grzegorz Zengota to make the move happen" means it's a definite now?
-
So a factually incorrect quote from another thread is what we have to go on! Must be true then. GSI have nothing to do with Track Prep at televised meetings

Would have potentially been the case with Steve and Charles. Last season priority was only given if they were an asset of the Club they were riding for (as Steve went to a different EL Club Edinburgh kept priority)....this season it depends on which League the Club they belong to race in.
-
Or down to losing their PL place if their PL Club lost first call on their services through signing for an EL Club as an asset
-
But Swindon were not able to re-introduce a rider who had not come back from injury (for them)...and so until then Kildemand had to remain in the declared 1-7
-
If Kildemand was fit and not riding for Swindon, could be deemed to have withheld service hence the facility I assume

Swindon V Belle Vue 18/6/15
Reliant Robin replied to Chalkie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Exactly my thoughts....I think people are giving Rosco a little too much credit in the stats department on this occasion. Still, it keeps people talking
