  1. All looks far too sensible and logical to me!! SCB...have you contacted anybody at BSPA about this and/or software for fixtures?
  2. Half of the GP field raced in the UK in 2016......with 3 of the top 5 finishing up the season here. Standout rider this year is Jason Doyle who has just committed to a new 2 year deal at Swindon. Not all doom and gloom
  3. Don't disagree with the first part...more the attitude of many believing the PL is the be all and end all and that it props up the EL. Both leagues have their pros and cons and both need each other, that is the reality.
  4. It's also quite interesting running through team line-ups to see who these PL & NL riders are that are propping up EL sides.....a large percentage are owned by EL Clubs, so the argument could well work the other way around.
  5. Read The Little Un's post a few up from yours....much more on the money and sensible.
  6. You think the sport would be better off without the TV money? I doubt you'll find many EL Promoters who would be in the same hopeful boat. A good and sensible post on the subject
  7. Plus it's not really a wasted week as the 2nd leg of semi would still have been on 26th I'd imagine
  8. Got to be sailing close on being able to get a visa renewal if it's that low
  9. How very dare you! I agree, I still make Poole favourites to pull off another title win....whilst not dominant on the road, they've done very well at keeping things close away from home, and think they'll do the business when it counts at home
  10. Swindon are still due at Lakeside on 16th September....Belle Vue v Poole on box on 12th September confirmed on Sky Speedway Twitter....the website schedule is incorrect
  11. 16th September.....Lakeside will be hoping the weather doesn't intervene on that one!
  12. If there isn't, and the EL structure stays the same or similar, then I guess the gaps in the fixture list will continue
  13. Agree with the sentiment, although I do think there have been a couple of sessions at the Abbey.....this particular Thursday I believe is free for a reason...Sheffield v Somerset Edited to add, looks like Zielona Gora are also in action
  14. I'd say the track looked patchy and difficult up until the track work and grading that took place after heat 7....after that it looked good and produced some good racing
  15. I'm expecting a much improved performance to Monday's showing. Kings Lynn very hit and miss much like our Robins...but should be a track all our Aussie boys ride well. Think Monday hurt and am predicting a bounce back performance - 42-48
  16. He can't unless the rules have changed as we already have 2 double uppers (not inc Fast Trackers) in Josh & Rohan
  17. Stadium has planning permission as passed according to local MP Justin Tomlinson......his words are 'they should now be getting on with it'
  18. I think this argument is more in the head than anything....Sky meetings finish at 9:30pm.....I've been to a fair few 7:30pm starts that have taken longer to run when not on Sky.
  19. Here's hoping.....we need 3 of them! Maybe Cookie can score more than the 5 that AJ got at the Abbey last time out
  20. They can....but obviously don't want to. Unsure if it is still the case, but always used to be that 3 dates had to be offered by staging Promotion. I would imagine if still the case, all 3 of those were Fridays.
  21. Lakeside don't have any dates available when most Swindon riders are available.....that's why the first cancelled meeting between the two at Lakeside is pushed right back to Fri 16th September!
