  1. Should be decent , will Franc be apperaing at Berwick rather than the 4tt at Workington ? Or will we not know this till 6.55 on Saturday ?.
  2. Agree and disagree, he did have to step up with his set up , but on the same hand his potential was there for all to see and had to be stuck with and credit to the Coventry promotion they did.
  3. How dare you mention that people thought he should be dropped from Coventry, I thought we wernt aloud to bring that up any more !.
  4. It isnt a " massive success " I think most know that , the fact the events are better ran than last year isnt something to be proud of its just further proof of the shambles they used to be and still are in fact.
  5. It counts for the fact that Berwick should sign Sean Wilson and Peter Carr this week and get in , why ? well they were quite good a few years ago. . This season of speedway is farce after another, you wonder why people don't attend the sport !.
  6. It is very annoying as it had the makings of a good night, hopefully, this is just my own opinion, they could run some thing hand in hand with the Bordernapolis and combine the two ( no Peter that doesn't mean you charge double the price ), where you could ask a few old riders to come again and maybe a few that couldn't make it. Get the GP riders at that meeting and the riders who were decent enough to come this time and have 16 riders. That's just total fantasy though from a Berwick fan .
  7. Hope not cant really be fussed with another Pole at Berwick, Wortmann sounds of more interest to me. I dont see how adding another Pole can be the answer to Berwicks problems when our problems are already our Poles.
  8. Its his attitude which is the reason he is top of the world, Nicki hates losing, whats wrong with that ? , its the characteristics of the top GP riders which add to the series IMO.
  9. The most wrongful winner of a GP in recent history in my own opinion.
  10. I would say Chris Kerr it a stick on the in the U.S.A. team , also think Holder should be in front of Watt for Oz. Plus Franc will be in the Czech team.
  11. Bomber got every thing he deserved tonight, been a fanatic for about 8 years now, hes the first real Brit product I have been able to watch go from a CL rider to on the podium of the GP , and it was pretty cool to watch him do so , a cracking fella who got every thing he deserved. Have to say one thing though that might kill the moment, I wouldn't be getting to excited for him in Cardiff just yet, I think if he has top8 chances, he will have to accumulate as much as he can on " real " speedway tracks, as I do think Parken and Cardiff will cause him trouble.
  12. Ow I know but im sure most fans are very greatful to Newport and another PL team for the race that was going on in front.
  13. No I don't think it was, im sure the last one was at Coventry on national telly, but it really has slipped my mind who won.
  14. Who was the last team to win the 4s at a neutral venue ? just out of interest.
  15. I will say this for one thing , it wont be as well attended as the Play Off Final. I thought this would have been in the 4s section but hey ho. I don't see a great crowd being at the 4s, as i have already said, Charlie Chapmans idea of re inventing theses events seems to be putting them back to venues where they were moved from about 5 years ago. The reason the venue was changed ? poorly attended. I was trying to think what like the crowd was at the last 4s at Showground which Workington won ? on the TV. Biased as my view may be to say this, but it will be a lesser event for not having teams like Edinburgh and Berwick in it , two teams who travel well to the bigger events and always have a decent following. I mean at events like the P.L.R.C at Sheffield or even when the 4s were at Peterborough in the past both teams used to run at least a coach full of fans which is more than can be said for some teams in this event.
  16. It was better than most expected and " most experts " predicted, I think Chrissy Boy deserves a bit of credit for what he done on Saturday , its a long old season but if he just keeps plugging away ( which will all know he will ) then he will do ok. MON THE BOMBER
  17. How are Birmingham in this !! you are asking that , i mean really !!! clearly they have seen the big crowds up there put 2 and 2 together an got 5 in the hope they would flock to the 4s, to make the "super7evens" the success we all think it should be. Branney for Woffinden ? well..... maybe you're right.
  18. Why being a fan of the last team to win this tournament on neutral ground of course this interests me, I want to know this will go to a rightful team , not just a shower of gating tarts like Rye , although with Neath in there team im sure it wont. In fact they might just not bother showing up.
  19. I would also question why two teams with assessed average riders are there ?. I thought teams with assessed riders wouldn't be calculated ? i may be completely wrong though.
  20. Group A Kings Lynn,Glasgow, Somerset, Redcar Group B Rye, I.O.W, Worky ,Brum Brum the seeded team ! shock horror.
  21. Starting at 2 , i would be booking it for about 7 my self, i mean by the time the meeting has ran and Berwick are presented with the trophy. Plus taking into consideration the meeting could run a while and i am guessing the EOES is miles away from any kind of bus station.
