Berwick, Sheffield and Kent.
Hodgy replied to poolebolton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sheffield = PL Kent = CL Berwick = CL -
Thanks but doubt you can record it. 25 mins of action spread over 3.5 hours needs the fast forward button. I generally start watching it from the start when it’s half way through.

Hopefully no. Like or loathe they promote Speedway with passion. Isn’t that what we continually crave?

Really hoped they would also take the GP’s, so I could cancel BT Sport.

Poole Supporters Grand Final Thread
Hodgy replied to Gavan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Fair play, thanks for explaining. Understand your meaning. Sometimes the same peeps regurgitating the same biased rubbish eventually gets the better of me. Taking over every thread with the same negativity towards a certain team and supporter, over and over. Im back in the room. Thanks again. -

Appreciate your opinion but sorry sorry don’t understand the accusation. Where is the hypocrisy? -
Poole Supporters Grand Final Thread
Hodgy replied to Gavan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I’ve avoided responding to you for longer than I expected - but your constant obsession with all things Poole, and in particular one poster is bordering on the need for help. You turn every thread into your hatred of Poole and stalk every post from SS. You’ve made your repetitive point soooooo many times. Please STF Up and let the subject thread flow without so much anger. -
Think you’ll find BW was being sarcastic.

Agree Fogo are rapidly expanding but not really interested in the UK, as it’s predominantly a ‘stand by’ market. They have a UK Distributor but it’s very low volume. The real business is prime power and Aftermarket / Service territory . The majority of UK Genset manufacturers also focus on export.

Fogo are a Polish Generator manufacturer.

Poole v Ipswich Play Off Semi 1st leg. 23/9/19
Hodgy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Complacent - they thought job done with 8 heats to go. Agree, many riders not the most intellectual - but anyone that rides a Speedway bike must have rare nuts. -

Doesn’t that = complacent? -
Oh please shut it Mindy. It’s getting very boring. You know my gripe. Basically rip people, because they can. This is not a successful business model, and proved so.

Apologies misread the the thread title. Nielsen was the best but my favourite was watching Ian Barney fly round the Showground.
-
Don’t remind me - I drew Zoltán Adorján in the sweepstake. Per was a class act. Although it’s Hans Nielsen for me.
-
Absolute crap. Hope it’s more than another 5 years before I see another meeting at this gaters paradise. Always been the same.

Wow! What a read. Had the a few debates with the Mr Doc but he knows his Speedway, which is what this forums intends. In fact I’d love to have a beer talking Speedway with the Doc, It’s all about opinions. Sadly I fell out with a member through a complete misunderstanding, as this appears.

Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
Hodgy replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes agree, thought Glasgow weren’t out of it. Appears they really didn’t like the track or would have got on with it. Would still like to know what wound them up, that as you say spoilt the meeting. -
As expected, easy and well deserved win for The Wolves. I just can’t connect with this track, I have tried. Think it’s all about what you are brought up on. Respect the Supporters that defend, and enjoy it. My preference will alway be full throttle racing.

Eastbourne v Glasgow Semi Final
Hodgy replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Out of interest, why would they do this? Also, would like to know what words were used pre-meeting. Nothing wrong with building an atmosphere as long as it doesn’t get too personal. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Hodgy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thanks for the response. Respect you were there and witnessed first hand. From the outside we can only view the video and forum inputs. In my opinion Cook didn’t start the situation, but he doesn’t take too much to react. As you say, was looking for an exit (pits) before the unnecessary scrap. Think the flag guy and hard men entourage put themselves in more danger than a guy winding down at very low speed. Health & safety!!! If not for the Dugard interaction(s), that created the ‘mayhem’, doubt we would have read so much about it. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Hodgy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sorry Lisa, don’t agree with you this time. Cook was slowly strolling to the pits, after several wind ups, with no danger to others. The marshal could have calmly guided him in instead of deliberately walking into a moving bike. The plank that then got in his face caused the mayhem. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Hodgy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Can’t recall, or find what the ban was - however, I remember the incident well. Apologies again for the other night. Was only interested in talking Speedway. -
Cook, Vissing and Kennett banned.
Hodgy replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Cook just idling back to the pits, after the wind ups. Flag man walks in front of his bike - receives a shoulder barge. Should have have been the end of it, both in the wrong. Until Dugard’s get involved, not unusual. Very tame compared to a blind vicious assault. -
Tai / Rosco - Team GB 2020
Hodgy replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
In my opinion it’s impossible to compare eras. As BW stated, Tai would beat the past legends ‘now’ every time. However, given the same professionalism today v the ‘said, good old days’, on the same level, we will never know.
