  1. Anyone have any rooms they plan on releasing?
  2. My point entirely. I really do hope the new lads progress well but they are not ready yet. As far as all the comments regarding riders failing in the past, usually a case of best of an average bunch.
  3. We couldn't qualify for the under 21 WTC, so really what would the point be to put them in the senior team. We are debating who should be in the 10 man squad, what is the point of naming 10 when it will be reduced to 4/5 in a couple of weeks. What will they learn from that?
  4. Oh come on people, Garrity, Blackbird, Lambert, Kerr, Lawson etc... This is World Team Cup, I really hope they make it one day but get real, they are miles away at this level. Draft riders and PL at best - you can not be serious!!!
  5. Rusky's looking like a reserve team of Kov's. Emil and Laguta Bro's won't ride as they don't pay enough, allegedly.
  6. Really? Worrell and Lambert are not ready. A bit unfair on Harris, maybe inconsistent over the past few seasons but 3 British Champion titles, League success and some great battling performances in past World Team cups - much more than just Cardiff 2007. How many points do you think the mentioned youngsters would have after the 6 GP rounds? At least he gives it a go knowing his best days are behind him - unlike a certain Rusky. Barker, like or dislike, will out score most we have to choose from (granted not a lot of choice). He can, on his day, be an entertainer. There is no long term planning in Speedway, who knows where it will be next year, month or even week. Pick the team that will give you the best chance to progress - it will still be a job to qualify.
  7. If Rosco picks a team for the future he won't be in the job long enough to reap any benefits. Play your best team on the day - far too soon for some riders mentioned. Woffy, Cook, Harris, Barker. Not a lot beyond that - King and Bridger rarely perform on the bigger stage. Nicholls would have made us look a tad stronger.
  8. Great idea to post these views of the two tracks.
  9. Or their averages don't fit. The better you do your job the more you risk putting yourself out of work. That's always been a frustration.
  10. No not watching something different just have differing opinions. That is all. What actually happened, in my opinion, NP caused the crash - as the majority agree. So, as someone has to be excluded for causing the stoppage - you really see a case for excluding Zager?
  11. I don't understand where you are coming from. Zager is holding his line on the 3rd bend, not clamping anyone. Pedersen slams straight into him, either going for a gap that wasn't there, trying too hard to move him over or totally misjudging his speed. Whichever it was the conclusion was without doubt Pedersen caused the crash.
  12. If it was exactly the same move it would have had exactly the same result. Not the same at all.
  13. You are missing the comparison I was referring to. However, having just watched the next instalment of The Swedish League, as far as entertainment goes - give me heats 2 and 9 of The EL over that processional borathon. It just will not sell, it's too drastic - GB riders 6 & 7 would be my call.
  14. The ref called the only decision possible in the situation. Couldn't call a rerun with all 4, someone has to go. Nothing really to justify excluding Harris, only option was the charging inside rider, slightly influenced by being a tad out of control on bend 4. Would like to have seen Nicholls in the final.
  15. You must be joking. Throwing a few novices / amateurs at the big league will be its saviour! In my opinion it's a lost opportunity. You often compare the structure to Sweden - many of their required Swedish reserves have been EL/PL heat leaders. That's what we need, all teams must include Brit reserves, irrelevant of. But back in the real world.....
  16. Gundersen is a perfect example that this sport is dangerous enough without Pedersen's kamikaze moves. He states the incident was tough racing (tough racing that could have been fatal) yet wants the book throwing at Zager for the handbags in the pits. You couldn't make it up.
  17. If this meeting had the top 2 from each team, as it should be, the attendance would have been significantly more. That's what I mean about suffering.
  18. The only difference being Lindgren had that slight opportunity to move over, Zager didn't. Slam Dunk!
  19. Anyone with Speedway knowledge could see Pedersen caused the crash, his fault. 100/0%. If Zager holds the line doesn't mean Pedersen can slam into him, then call it 50/50.
  20. Agree, this wasn't in my opinion The NL Pairs per se. Would have gone if the competition took preference. Congratulations to Stoke but as you say, hardly up and coming youngsters. It's disappointing that the league designed to give the young ones an opening is the one suffering.
