Surprised BT have resorted to such underhand actions. Guess they are desperately trying to recoup the champions league billions - but struggling. Someone on an unofficial forum stated they have been reported to the ombudsman. Their broadband is the quickest in my area therefore can't leave. How did we ever survive without Wiffy. All very disappointing - I enjoyed telling them to stuff their BT Sports.

I'm well miffed BT now have the GP's. Took out a new BT contract for broadband and landline, advised BT Sport is free (paid £3 month last contract). After a week of no sports channel called again, oh sorry sir you don't have BT TV therefore £5 per month, oh you want HD that will total £11 per month. BT Sport is free! Lying gits!!!

If I were the source and told something in confidence - doubt I would be too chuffed personal and confidential information was shared on a public forum.

Pleased to hear you draw your conclusion having discussed with all parties concerned - would have been disappointed if you had just picked a random number. I asked Robert!!!! Yet another alias from our resident loony me thinks

Can you prove it was Peterborough's doing or are you speculating and spreading rumours? 😉

Open Season On Nicki
Hodgy replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Liar, ringleader, bully, cringy, hate. That's nothing like the Hancock I see and am astonished you feel such animosity towards a genuine nice guy. His competitors appear to have nothing but respect and admiration for the man. Maybe you know something I don't or just don't like nice people. -
Open Season On Nicki

I'm amazed at the number of likes for this post and negativity towards HANcock - but respect we all have opinions. In my opinion NP is not a hard rider, he's dirty and crosses the line. He doesn't have the speed he used to therefore resorts to desperation, win at all costs tactics that to me are often too dangerous. Ride the track not the man - this is not demolition derby. Recent conflict with Hancock, Johnson, Zager, Iversen, Gollob, Emil, Nicholls, Holder, Doyle, Ward, Woffinden, Batchelor, Masters etc.... They know what it's like out there far more than most of us. Can they all be wrong? -
Play Offs Should They Be Scrapped.?

Don't give up the day job!!! -
What a great race track - Speedway at its very best. Belle Vue replicate this track. Tai odds on to be WC, top 3 decided, top 8 decided, no Poles in sight - maybe contributed to the crowd shortfall.

Poole Vs The Aces For The Title
Hodgy replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes I know but my point is, does it really matter? It's not as if he was offside, therefore gained the advantage. 4 riders competed, goggles made no difference to the heat result. -

FFS pages of a guy riding without goggles (now I'm contributing). Smacks of desperation. Whatever the rules he gained no advantage, in fact was more disadvantaged. Yes I know rules are rules but wouldn't we all rather see a 4 rider heat? Or do we prefer to win on a technical? Belle Vue put up a great fight but Poole are worthy winners, end of! -
Premier League Riders Championship - Sheffield 6th Sep
Hodgy replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Completely agree. This used to be the PL prestige event of the season, a must see. Top riders from each team challenging to be The PLRC. Now it appears the odd meeting elsewhere is more important than appearing for the team / supporters that follow week in week out. We have all read so many opinions regarding the problems with British Speedway recently, yet they can't sort this simple situation to satisfy all. Then laughingly continue to analyse why people lose interest. If they can't give it priority then why should I.... -
1983 Craig Featherby Peterborough. The lamp Standards were all moved back as a result of this tragedy.
-
In other words, everyone's opinion that doesn't match yours is brainless.

Never had you down as so easily pleased. So, with Ully, Allen, The Lamberts out - Raffa has heat 2 sorted. Only 14 more heats to to worry about. We're getting there!!!

Belle Vue, Kings Lynn Or Swindon For 3rd/4th Spot
Hodgy replied to Trevor's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I would say improvement rather than achievement. -
How could I forget 😉 4-5 points is ok if they are a result of beating the opposition riders.
-
But does very little thereafter, has he won other than heat 2? That was my intended meaning of regular. Agree seems a pleasant guy.
-
Surprised to see Barker watching the meeting from the pits, even more surprised to see him looking well and slim. Thought I read some time ago his challenge was to be fit for the start of next season. With Ully, Allen and both Lamberts out we need a regular heat winner.

I saw this awful incident with my own eyes. I certainly have no intention or desire to see it again. -

Hey Triple H, was great to meet you and pals at the pairs. Who would have thought 'Burnham on no sea' would end up such a wild night. You going to the 4's tomorrow? Think it might be my round, again
