That's around the time most companies (if not all) were scrapping the 'final salary scheme'. Some instantly others a few years grace. Wasn't working in their favour. SS delivered every Thursday, albeit can be anytime between 10am - 5pm, you just never know with our Posty!
-
If I were you I would contact Sky and say you only agreed to a new Sky subscription based on their contracted Speedway coverage. To which 2 years still remained at that time. Now they have bailed you would like to follow.

Full BT Sports package - does this price include HD / 4K and multi-room?
-
A very good one - by far the best I've seen / heard.
-
Email me at mick@coventrybees.co . Surprised if that will deliver.

Yes been to both - "it's grim up North"! Don't think I've ever felt so cold than many a March / April / Oct meeting at the wide open EOES. All most of us want is for them to 'get on with it'! No interval (unless you're going to use it to promote) - plenty of time to grab a pint or burger during the tractor race intervals. Didn't really consider those Xmas & New Year meetings. For the reason you state and always felt they were challenging the weather.
-
Def not a dig bruno. Just stating wish I could fast forward when attending live meetings. It really is so boring hanging around in the usual cold weather. The EOES must be one of the coldest places on earth.
-
Fair enough but guess you can stick with what you're doing. Wish that remote would work when attending live meetings.
-
Not really a highlights package, you are fast forwarding a recorded live broadcast. MOTD is a highlights programme. Agree the fast forward option is the only way to watch Speedway in my opinion. Especially the GP's, that go on for hours. Avoiding the result isn't that difficult - sign of the times.
-
Let's hope so but expecting "discussions are on going".
-
That's what I'm saying GB, he's on a par with these 7's and improving. Each will have their day. Looks like most teams have that Sacrificial Lamb. Guess they will learn what it takes.
-
It appears so as you are not expecting anything. Maybe it is a step too far too quick but my comparison is based on the opposition reserves - don't see a lot in it with some. I see JS as a rapidly improving and ambitious young rider. Poole should give him the support and confidence to improve. Just my opinion. As will his opposite 7's.
-
In my opinion I would expect Shanes to be a match for half the named number 7's and the odd number 6.
-
We will agree to disagree. I think you would be surprised how many would attend both. That 100 miles is all motorway and PK will not be riding on his own.
-
It's not a testimonial, it's a farewell meeting - a very well deseved one. In my opinion testimonials are given too freely, I recall it used to be a reward for 10 years service for the same club. The clash of meetings early in the season could have been avoided - thus not necessary for supporters having to choose.
-
Kim Nilsson.
-
What about thinking of the supporters? PK was very well respected during his Peterborough days. Sure there are several that would attend both meetings. Lost opportunity!
-
It was a disgusting personal post. I nearly commented that they should leave the whiskey and go to bed. Chose the best option, just ignore rather than get into a slanging match.
-
Looked a nasty femur break - although now back in training I see. Hope to see him back fit soon, could be a good signing but I've lost track of this 'average's' cr@p.
-
Thought he was injured.
-
Brother Colin I recall closed Oxford Speedway.
-
I would much prefer the statement was incorrect. Unfortunately it is not. Hope Coventry have some positive news by Friday - it's been a rough ride for their supporters and Speedway in general.
-
It says nothing, as per usual. I do think the 'Supremo' means well but his 'track' record should never have let him near such a famous club. Mr jchapman needs to ditch the HP.
-
Completely disagree.
