Managed to coincide recent work travels with Redcar’s last two home meetings v Berwick and Peterborough. This involved four taxi rides 1.8 miles from my city centre hotel. Not one driver knew where the track was or that Speedway existed so local. Hope the fours works out well. Will be a very tight squeeze.

It’s not a question of believing you. The few posted as you say but if you can’t (legally or otherwise) back it up with detail it just creates rumours and assumptions. “You will not believe what I have heard!” “What?” “Can’t say!”. Thus creating the effer’s.

I have Sky Q but the same happened to me. Set it to record a few days ago, when I checked before the meeting it had disappeared. It’s done this a few times, hence me checking. Also have to record the programme after as will cut off if meetings overrun. Very frustrating. Nearly missed a very entertaining meeting.

Sweden and Poland run with Squads. With so few PL fixtures these days, why they agree dates knowing riders will be missing, and the financial impact it creates, makes no sense to me. Understand you cannot predict qualifiers but surely it’s more cost effective to reschedule when several riders are confirmed unavailable.
