  1. Oh god. I'm staying well clear of you and that microphone tomorrow night then!!!!
  2. Fantastic score for Jake Knight! Been happy with his scoring this season, even though I've not been to an NL meeting since, er, April? Good to see he's still going OK.
  3. By the looks of things, no Anyone even know what the line ups are out of interest?
  4. Bloody cheek! No harm in expecting the unexpected We'll be there early, yes, for certain! Thanks for that. Just hope you're right
  5. You what?! That's pushing it a bit isn't it?! I'd heard times quoted as 5pm and then 5.30pm, but I think that's going to cause utter chaos. I thought the car parks would've been open a lot earlier than that. You know, get the 1000s in over a few hours, not 2 hours!
  6. Anyone know the exact time the car parks are going to be open? Sorry if it's already been mentioned here somewhere!
  7. The cheek of it I never 'fished' for an introduction from Kyle Legault anyway, LOL, so no I'm not! I've just missed that man not racing in this country. Didn't even have the chance to see him last season when he was with Eastbourne for a little while.
  8. I have a Swedish flag I'll probably stand on the 1st bend, so you'll be in good company
  9. Simon Stead looks a completely different bloke from the one I saw back at Coventry for the 2008 SWC. He looks a better rider this year IMO, though saying that, I've only seen him race this season once, maybe twice. Can't really disagree with the 5 riders that have been chosen anyway. Anyone know the other line ups...particularly the line up for Sweden?
  10. Echo those sentiments. Wish him well...kinda gutted he never signed for us though, but there we are. Can't own everyone I guess
  11. There's me thinking there were only 3 support races Thanks for that BFD!
  12. Is anyone able to tell me the results of the support races from the final round? I read in the King's Lynn topic on here that Kozza won all 3, but there were no details as to who he was up against and I was curious to find out who the other riders were?
  13. I was happy to see Kozza's name included in the qualifier line up...only to then be disappointed further down the page reading that second message Does anyone from down under know how he's getting on i.e recovering from that ankle injury?
  14. Woop! I really enjoyed the SWC this year at Peterborough, so hopefully we'll be going to this one
  15. S'alright. Thought you might be interested in it
  16. Just seen this topic posted on the Stars fan forum, kings_lynn_hun. Thought you might want to read it! http://starsrus.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo...amp;thread=1460
  17. Well done to Jonesy Let's hope he makes more progress!
  18. Go for it Jonesy Hopefully we'll see him make a breakthrough with racing in the UK next season!
  19. Hindsight's a wonderful thing isn't it?! On the performances Lewis and Danny gave on Monday, they deserved to be there. Why kick them out? This gave them the opportunity to gain experience riding abroad and learn from their mistakes. I didn't see the meeting as I don't have Sky, but judging by the comments I've seen online, the Brits done us proud as they gave it a go.
  20. Well, £20 was well spent last night Compared to our performance at Coventry last year, I thought we done a lot better. The atmosphere was fantastic and the racing was top notch. The Pole supporters probably added to the atmosphere with their crazy antics (funny stuff ) but they're just really passionate about their speedway and they were just enjoying themselves. We were sat in the stand just coming out of bend 4 and we had quite a few Poles around us, but they were only chanting, dancing and waving flags and banners about, which I don't see a problem with, but I was told some were behaving badly on the back straight. I suppose we were just lucky to have some decent ones near us! Team GB done themselves proud last night. This year, they rode like they all wanted to give it their all. They all tried. No one can ask anymore of them than that. Compared to last year, I think that's a step in the right direction. Of course Danny King deserves a special mention. What a bloke! For us, he was worth the entrance fee alone. Such a shame to see him ending his night with an EF - I bet he swore after! Anyway...on to the race off now. I hope GB shows as much fight in Poland as what they did last night
