Didn't he get into a punch up with the start marshal at the 4's a while back? perhaps that's the real reason? would be a better reason than the white sponsor thing
yep, I was there, the only 2 moments of comment were Bates beating Stewart on the line and a cracking ride by Connor Mountain. Everything else was a total procession with riders strung out with 30 yards between each of them. Oh and seemingly hours of tractor racing. What did you see?
It used to be the case that fans stayed away for challenges and then turned up for the real competitions, there were certainly a lot less where I was standing than last week. Agree, I really struggled with the yellow helmet colour... I thought they recently went back to yellow and black?
Yes, I was thinking the same, last week and this... Has it been changed at all since last season or is my eyesight just failing as I get older and grumpier?
I didn't think team suits were even compulsory anymore? I'd be pretty peed off if I'd bought a season ticket expecting to see Harris & Cook and got fobbed off with Tungate and whoever...
"The Robins chief was instrumental in the preparation of the racing surface leading up to the first five British Speedway Grand Prixs held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff."
... And who remembers what death traps they were!
There should be no reason for any match to take longer than 90 minutes. Just because you're in attendance sometimes for over 2 and a half hours doesn't mean you're getting better vfm
