So far this season Leon Madsen seems to be one of the very best riders in the world... Yet he was overlooked for the SoN and isn't getting wildcards into GP's with the same old faces being named as wildcards and replacements NKI, MJJ, AJ. Why? Has he upset people in high places?

For one wonderful moment I hoped they were ripping the track up and putting a new one in... oh well
-
That's just the type of lack of imagination that has left us with a track that's really not worth going to , where you can't see anything unless you are up against the fence, in the grandstand or don't mind getting hit with shale and the pits are tucked away where nobody can see anything

Well done Russia, but who cares? If you want to read people giving credit to Russia you best sign up to some Russian forums... As a Brit I'm more interested in seeing Britain win and not come 2nd and to not even try and win the final was puzzling at best and unforgivable at worst... especially with all the work now going into the Speedway GB team, why bother with all that if you're not even going to try and do the basics If Speedway was featured in the papers can you imagine the scrutiny the tactics (or lack of) would have come under? It wouldn't have made for good reading... we may even have seen Rosco with a turnip on his head! -
Agreed it is the same shape as last year, it was just about tolerable last year or 2, since they've gone top league in my opinion but has nosedived this year. I'm no expert on what does or doesn't produce good racing... All I know is what I'm watching is total crap. Don't agree they can only move the track out, it needs to be smaller if anything, I think maybe the straights are too long, and what's with the hill on bend 2?
-
OK, keep them enclosed, did it say they had to be hidden away around the back?
-
I think it would probably have to be smaller... but any space left over after alteration I would look at moving the pits somewhere in the open, like in Torun for example. Give the punters something to look at during the tractor racing, instead of them being tucked away out of view like they are at the moment. And as for the inevitable question of how it's going to be funded... they're sponsored by JCB, get them involved in some way
-
It should be carried out as soon as the season is over... if they make it until the end of the season. They can get somebody in who knows how to design a track, look at the more recent new builds, BV, Somerset, Scunthorpe. Any more questions?
-
That's the same throughout the sport though isn't it... nobody seem to look at things as a punter. Like when I was stood on the back straight at Peterborough on Sunday with my ears almost bleeding because of the volume of the tannoy... all it needs is for someone to check before going ahead
-
... and shape, there's only so much you can do to polish a turd
-
properly remodel the track... or watch attendances drop off and the club die

I bet the promotion wish they could bring the Sheffield track down to Leicester!
-
Well, listening to Danny King's interview he said it's been getting better and better and that it's nearly where they want it... but then he did call Krystian, Thomas, so probably has no idea what he's talking about
-
Some may say he's not perfect now after last weekends tactics
-
Don't you all know you're not allowed to slag Leicester off anymore... I had a lovely night at the cinema for a fiver and came home not needing a shower

At least the issue has now been acknowledged and answered. If that's what Tai says I'll have to accept it, I don't agree with it, but he's the one riding the bike -

That's funny because in that final race he was and right on his back wheel That's disappointing to hear... perhaps Speedway is not the sport I thought it was or maybe it's just the difference between winners and losers so we would have gone from a losing position to... a losing position -

So what you're saying is there was only 1 option to win?
