Just goes to show what a lottery calling meetings off based on a weather is. 90 minutes before start time it was forecast 80% chance of heavy rain from 8pm, its now 9pm and still dry... thank goodness! Meeting came alive in the end, it's a shame that many of the riders opted not to come round and wave at those of us that are here

it's changing by the hour though... now 50% chance of light rain by 8pm and 90% chance of heavy rain by 9pm

Peterborough are a track that cancels on forecasts, 50% chance of light rain from 6pm... at the moment

Because there is life outside of Scunthorpe... this was due to be on BSN, which is probably why it's had more interest

Yes but you're not only 2nd guessing the weather, now you're 2nd guessing the promotion as well... probably safer just to stay at home unless there's no sign of rain on the radar
