There should be ample time, if they pulled their finger out they could be done and dusted by 12:30, there have been many matches this season done in around 90 minutes. Even if it didn't finish until 1pm that still leaves a couple of hours to get to Manchester or the Football with an hour to spare

Well... after the very best of Speedway last night, tonight is after the Lord Mayor's show. There's been a slide off in every heat so far but at least it's getting done!

Track is VERY wet... riders stood around on the first bend Riders now walking the track with, I assume, the ref No, not the ref... just the Scunny riders

Looking at the met office rainfall radar and there's a big dollop of rain heading the way of Leicester, forecast is back to 90% chance of heavy rain between 6 and 7pm

This is part of the whole problem though, Scunny don't care about Leicester's crowds so send a team without Ellis, Leicester don't care about Kent crowds, so send a team without the Thompson twins, earlier in the season Eastbourne don't care about Leicester's crowds so send a team without Kennett and don't send 2 riders out in heat 15... etc. etc And so it goes on... and the crowds drop etc. etc.
