You've got to ask why we're running a championship quarter final on a cold mid October Tuesday evening to get it finished so Poole can ride on Wednesday with the return running against the SoN on Saturday though... especially with the stadium being silent so often during the summer

Scunny should be thrown out of the competition! They'll cancel a match in the summer because of a football match on the TV... but won't run on an attractive Friday night but choose to run against the SoN that many, including myself, already have tickets for! Absurd!

Poole are riding the 1st leg of their semi this Wednesday, so why not this Friday at Leicester?

It's outrageous really, what Godfrey has done is cheat in the quarter finals of the league play offs. If he knew Ellis wasn't available he shouldn't have accepted the match or accepted the fixture with no facility. There was a rumour that he was also going to accept the fixture on the previous Sunday, again without Ellis. It remains to be seen whether Ellis rides tomorrow or whether a facility will be granted. In any credible sport Scunthorpe would probably be given a points penalty next season and a hefty fine.

So the fans lose out again

There's no conspiracy theory though is there, somebody is telling lies and there should be an inquiry as it calls the validity of whole competition into doubt. As for lineups, well, some fans somewhere are going to be mugged off again. Either Lions & Scorpions fans with the non appearance of Ellis and/or the Thompson twins. Or the Kings & Cubs fans with the non appearance of the Thompson twins.

For me this should be a resignation offence for Godfrey, he has clearly lied to his clubs loyal supporters there's no way this man should be in charge of British Speedway. I will not be attending Scunthorpe Speedway again while this man is in charge of the sport. He's mugged off his own clubs supporters, he's mugged off Leicester fans and he's put the British Champion in an untenable position.

We now have proof, will anything happen about this? No!

So... the organiser of your Speedway (and Speedway in the whole of the UK) has been outed as a liar! What do you think about that?

Perhaps as, I assume the director of a company, he should be aware that the director of another company is telling lies about him in public. Or perhaps he'll just keep quiet about things and be complicit in the deceit and continue to take the coin. Instead of coming on here and having a go at the paying punters who have supported the club Adam has been a part of all year you should make him aware of the situation and maybe as a professional Speedway rider and British Champion he can release a statement? Angry, not especially, I've come to expect these kind of shenanigans now, that's why I'm making fun of the situation as it's all a bit of a joke isn't it... disappointed yes. Nobody comes out of this particularly well
