It's cost cutting isn't it... but 2 meetings and 2 practice/quali sessions on one track in 2 days is too much imo. -

This meeting would have been abandoned in the UK with the amount of water on the track in heat 5! 😂 -

Any links for tonight? @stewmac @racers and royals You guys are normally all over this 🤷♂️ -
The expectation that your clubs management doesn't arrange a fixture when your number 1 is away? That your number 1 is content to accept a booking with no guarantee of getting a ride 😂, that product? Fine? Come on man... let's see what the crowds are like at the end of the season at Northampton, I was there and I can tell you, that although it was a decent crowd, they were the crowds that were commonplace when I first started attending speedway, so forgive me if I'm not doing a jig of delight.

I think if Dan Thompson wants to build his speedway career by traveling to Poland to not ride he should drop Britain... Or ... he could give Poland a miss until he's good enough to ride over there. If and when he's good enough Polish Clubs will be knocking his door down to sign him and he'll be able to name his own price.

I can zone Tatum out when I need to, what's not acceptable is televising a timed qualification event and not show the viewers the on screen times... like you say... the rubbishe we have to put up with! -

Coverage is still a shambles... no times being shown and sound about 10 seconds out of sync 😂 -

Quali on TNT5 now (13:00) if anybody is interested -
Yes, I mean from the point that they took over... but unless you are prepared to travel to Europe you're only going to see our national team ride at home once or twice a year and this year not at all. I'm struggling to understand how this benefits British Speedway, it garner's little to no media interest, they may ride around with Daily Star plastered on their arses but just doing a quick search now on their website and the last Speedway story was about Emma Jones and the one prior to that Linda Lusardi! They'll be shown twice this year on pay-TV if they're lucky and they're just bringing on the youngsters, meaning they often miss British club matches so they can gain international experience and then be poached by Polish clubs leaving us using journeymen guests or rider replacement in their absence!

It's all very well and good having a professional national team, which has absolutely knocked anything that came before out of the park, but... to what end? How does it benefit British Speedway? It very nearly wasn't even on TV last night and even then behind a £30+ per month pay wall. We don't even get to see the national team in on track action in this country and the only connection it has with fans is through social media.
