  1. Surprised they didn't cancel it based on the forecast
  2. looking at the rainfall radar they'll be lucky to start let alone finish!
  3. Do you know what the attendances/capacities are for the other GP venues?
  4. There should be equivalent tickets available, I'm not saying there are, but if that's not the case they need naming and shaming and the authorities need notifying
  5. My ticket was £22 and I get the SGP2 on Sunday also! How much VFM do you want?!?
  6. We do like our tractors at Leicester, we even got to see it after heat 2 last night and a heat earlier than normal for an extended interval
  7. A common denominator with all of those you mention is Heritage/Ethnicity... I don't think it's any coincidence that Tai gets the same
  8. For Billund see any airport on mainland Northern Europe or private plane from England to France/Germany
  9. Absolutely it can if you can watch it out of the context of it being meaningful to anything other than just Speedway racing, making your match on Friday an "official" fixture just devalues the competition completely
  10. It was just your average run of the mill meeting Lisa, which seems to be far too rare an occurrence these days, nothing to comment on like a team of guests etc.
  11. In slightly related news, I'm not technically minded at all... but did anybody else notice the "gizmo" attached to Max Fricke's machine? You could see it in the gap in the engine cover, a box with some red lights on it with what looked like a data cable plugged into the top. Not everybody had one... what was it? And do any other riders have one?
  12. I'm pretty sure Team GB have a seamstress on the payroll... besides he would have fitted right in with the rest of the crew with their ill fitting uniforms
  13. It was strange, because as a layman the track looked in the best condition it has done all season... just didn't produce any real close Speedway racing (except 10 and 14) with riders generally strung out 20 yards between them
  14. Good effort from our boys... well done Aussie. We can all take a year off next year as it's back to Poland to give them a home victory to keep them interested. It looks as though their fans have finally cottoned on to their "foreign" exploits as in previous years there was always more of a travelling support.
  15. You should see the ASF!! I think there in lies the difference between a "professional" commentator and a co-commentator... the pro would do their research beforehand and have a sheet full of stats to call upon during commentary, not sure if KT does, he may very well do.
  16. In an word No... London may as well be a different country to the rest of us who don't live there, it's a completely different demographic to the rest of the country
  17. It was really quite unremarkable, a bit of a FTGfest with only 2 races of any note
  18. That's why I'm wondering if BSPL clubs have refused to release riders, no manager worth their salt would want to defend a world title without a full compliment of riders especially after what has happened to them before
  19. According to the press release his kit and mechanics will be at Vojens to help/ be used if needed
  20. The way Tai was trapping the other night though he'll be a BIG miss around Vojens
  21. I wonder who has final say on whether Brennan, Flint & Kemp should ride in the SoN or return to the UK to ride for their clubs? Even then, no excuse for Kemp not to be there
  22. Don't they learn from their mistakes... we had no cover a few years back when Lambert and Cook crashed into each other in the first race. If Tai was injured yesterday why aren't Brennan, Kemp, Flint or anybody replacing him?
