BREAKING NEWS: Bartek Zmarzlik again sent shockwaves through the Speedway world earlier this evening amassing an amazing 78 out of a possible 80 World Championship points in the last 4 GP's, all coincidentally in his home country! It was more joy for Poland as Dominik Kubera again made the rostrum on his home track.
@chunky was sought for comment but was unavailable, although there have been reported sightings of him looking for his coat.
@iainb again declined to comment.
They don't have to provide a highly tuned delivery van to work for Tesco though, they get provided with a standardised diesel van that will drive to the moon and back, that requires a service every 10,000 miles.
Hmm... there's an idea, has anybody thought of standardised equipment for Speedway
BREAKING NEWS: Bartek Zmarzlik sent shockwaves through the Speedway world earlier this evening by winning a third consecutive GP, all coincidentally in his home country despite 2 mediocre performances at the start of the season in Prague. It now shoots the current World Champion back to the top of the standings.
When asked to comment on tonight's proceedings @chunky fumed "This is unbelievable! Zmarzlik winning again in his home country it makes a farce of the whole competition! And Dominik Kubera 2nd this just goes to prove that @iainb was right all along."
@iainb was approached but declined to comment.
If you'd read my original comments you'd see that I said as much as I dislike forecasted postponements I'll have to accept that they are now part of modern day speedway. I don't think any match should be called off until the day of the event though
What you (and others) don't seem to be able to get is that you can't run 2 leagues of teams in this country when they're allowed to call meetings off 3 days in advance based on a weather forecast without penalty.
Whether the decision was right or wrong is irrelevant really
