Teterow GP round 4 Saturday June 4th
IainB replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Sorts the men out from the boys though, there were a few who went missing last night, who would normally excel on a smooth slick track, we are trying to find out who the best rider in the world is after all. Bartek had the right idea, he clearly didn't fancy it, backing out of a few moves, doing just enough to get to the final and then Bam! Clear at the top of the Championship... be interesting to know who advised Tai that gate Blue was a good pick in the semi, that may prove to be a very costly decision. Nice to hear Kelvin Tatum use the Nigel Pearson catchphrase "Right place, Right time" a couple of times last night -

I'm not quite sure why we expect so much from Janowski? He's not even in the reckoning for the title of being the best rider to never win a world title. -

Good call... the forecast is for prolonged heavy rain to sweep across the country. Disappointed as I was looking forward to sampling my first taste of NDL action

Sorry Moranboys, I don't really care -
Speedway riders, like football players, ain't renowned for what they've got up top. I've always wondered why there's been no pits to rider communication along the lines of other motorsports, with a manager telling his rider where the opponent is coming from. I also think it depends how much a rider WANTS to become World Champion as to what they are prepared to do, you get the feeling that Nicki Pedersen would be prepared to do almost anything to hold onto his race position

I think you have got exactly the promoter you deserve. Last 2 meetings I've been to, 1 abandoned and one delayed for 40 minutes due to lack of medical cover. 1 thing i did notice that on both my visits the away contingent almost outnumbered the home crowd. If you keep running meetings with inadequate medical cover people will just not travel to the EWR and then you'll be up poop creek. Fair play and credit where it's due, Birmingham learnt by their mistake, yet your clown carries on business as usual Enjoy your Mickey Mouse club while you still have it -

Not at the expense of holding the meeting up for 40 minutes, you're sounding as bad as him... -

I couldn't hear what he was saying because of your tin pot PA system on the first bend, Couldn’t hear a thing, i was getting my info from updates. So if what you're saying is true he held up the meeting for 40 minutes to wait for a 2nd paramedic so that in case there was an accident requiring a rider to be taken to hospital he wouldn't have to hold the meeting up!!!!! The man's an even bigger clown than i first thought -

Your promoter is a Grade A Class 1 joke! How many paramedics need to be in attendance to run a meeting? -

After chancing last week, he's decided to chance it again with 1 paramedic! The guy's a joke! Sun's out, healthy crowd in and we're watching tractor racing to the sounds of the 80's. Might have a go on the hook a duck... see if i can win my BFH. -

No paramedic on site FFS! This guy should have his promoters licence taken from him... absolute disgrace to the sport
