Of course Max's level is all relative to the level of the league he's riding in... he may appear to be worse than he is in a middle league that is almost as strong as the top league
I think it's fair to say he's reached his level, as many riders do, which is ok, not everybody is going to become World Champion. Like Coles he obviously likes racing his Speedway bike or he wouldn't have kept doing it for so long,
Hope they've booked a medic or 2, hope the weather forecast is good, hope the electricity board aren't digging any holes in the area... etc. etc.
I shall take this one on BSN, given enough of my cash to that clown this season
For me it's not a matter of who is better Clegg or Coles but the whole idea of tracking a Cubs team... a Cubs team that as a Lions supporter I am often expected to subsidise in the way of not having a choice to watch them if I want to watch the Lions in action. If I am subsidising the Cubs I want to see some rider progression with club assets being promoted from the Cubs to the Lions
It's a strange one because I was at that meeting and totally missed anything happening, so I was quite surprised to read about it in the star a week later
There's a really easy way to tell the Thompson Twins apart... look at their names, one's called Joe and rides for Wolves, the other's called Dan, is currently injured and doesn't ride for Wolves
I've noticed while watching some of the BSN streams that when they record a track walk/guide well before the start of a meeting, there are people already on the terraces, which was quite a surprise for somebody who likes to roll up at 19:25 for a 19:30 start...
What time do you generally get to the track and if you're one of the early birds... what on earth do you do until the racing starts?
