  1. Perhaps as, I assume the director of a company, he should be aware that the director of another company is telling lies about him in public. Or perhaps he'll just keep quiet about things and be complicit in the deceit and continue to take the coin. Instead of coming on here and having a go at the paying punters who have supported the club Adam has been a part of all year you should make him aware of the situation and maybe as a professional Speedway rider and British Champion he can release a statement? Angry, not especially, I've come to expect these kind of shenanigans now, that's why I'm making fun of the situation as it's all a bit of a joke isn't it... disappointed yes. Nobody comes out of this particularly well
  2. Nothing baffling about it really, It's simple, it's because they called off meetings too early in the summer, wouldn't ride because something else was on the telly and couldn't find a club to ride because the opposition's captain was on the telly. Still, you'll get people telling you they did exactly the right thing! I'll be at BV watching some world class Speedway... all for £23 a pop
  3. Perhaps Adam should come out and say that somebody is telling lies about him being ill... otherwise he's just complicit in the deceit.
  4. Do the Polish and Swedish leagues have an "independent" body running their leagues?
  5. The rest of his team mates had also taken the night off, so I wouldn't have thought they gave a toss either. To be serious for a moment though... this was a Play Off quarter final, their most important match of the season, it's sport and anything could have happened, seems like there wasn't much will there from the management either.
  6. How much does the attendance of an ambulance cost? And do you know why on earth it was coming from the West Midlands?
  7. Don't forget the rest of this season too, he's still got to ride at Leicester on Tuesday... should be interesting to see what the next excuse is
  8. It's funny how all of the people telling me clubs were right to call meetings off based on weather forecasts in the summer have gone strangely silent now
  9. BREAKING NEWS: Adam Ellis today confounded medical science to race for his French team Morizes. The French ace romped to 13 points helping his side to an away victory. Government scientists are now seeking to question the British Champion to ascertain his miracle recovery from "illness" sustained at Sheffield on Thursday evening. They believe it may have been a dodgy pie but sources close to the Lourdes based Frenchman say that he has been drinking the spring water from the bottom of his garden... more news as we get it.
  10. I'm not insinuating anything, to be honest, I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes... nor do I care really. All I know is Leicester were left trying (or not) to promote an un-promotable meeting. A meeting that was/is THE most important meeting of the year so far in the defence of their league title, remember that? In fact they could have paraded the trophy round to the fans last night while we were all waiting... before it heads off to Poole and they actually do something with the bloody thing Don't forget the KO Cup!
  11. There wasn't even a preview of the match on the website until around 24 hours before the event... I don't know what you'd call that?
  12. Erm... I told you so. This thread is now open for apologies
  13. If you check out the International Speedway section of the forum, somebody (usually R&R) will post a link before the meeting starts
  14. If you don't enjoy listening to Sam Ermolenko commentate, you don't enjoy life
  15. Scunny should have forfeited the match and we all move on. There shouldn't even have been top 6 in the play offs this year, they've only done it to extend the season for a couple of clubs... well, they've certainly managed to do that!
  16. What is not out of the control of Leicester Speedway is the number of ambulances in attendance. They've been caught out before by not having adequate medical cover to ensure the smooth running of matches. It should be compulsory for 2 ambulances to be in attendance in my opinion. It seems like the sport is run by a bunch of chancers at times.
