  1. Yeah, no, for sure... I was halfway through typing it when I remembered Ace was a Tiger... meeting deserved a better crowd really
  2. just speaking as an observer, the 250's of today seem more akin to the 500's of yesteryear where they seem to reach their max speed before the end of the straight, where as the 500's look as though they'll just keep pulling and pulling. looking at the race times between SGP and SGP3 at the weekend there was only 3 or 4 seconds difference between the 2, so I'd suggest that having double the cc for an extra 2 or 3 seconds seems a bit overkill
  3. Yeah, no, for sure, so there's rain threatening, you've had 20 excellent heats of Speedway all building up to a big semi and final and then you stop for 15 minutes, bring a load of kids out to play on the centre green... that's exactly why the sport will never be anything again in this country. It should all have been about theatre but no somebody has got to put a stamp on a tyre, that if it isn't used could easily be used at the next meeting, I don't really care how it works at the moment, it needs to work better, get with it my friend, the writing is on the wall for the sport in this country, born out by the attendance today.
  4. Yeah, no, for sure, I've not no... they should have 4 tyres and wheels ready to use then surely, you've clearly never stood on the terraces waiting for the final 2 races
  5. Yeah, no, for sure... I'd expect that as soon as they knew they were through to the semi or final to start fitting their tyre, why does it take so very long to fit a tyre?
  6. What a final! Yeah, no, for sure! I thought Dan T had that in the bag, he just rode too conservative though, still a rostrum ain't bad and a good 2 fingers up to everybody that's dropped him this year!
  7. Yeah, no, for sure... there's been some great Speedway racing from heat 1 through to heat 20 today for sure... Why though in these events when the riders are allowed a new tyre does it take an eternity to fit them? All momentum is lost from the meeting for the sake of 2 races, just when the tension should be building... it's all lost. Why can't they have these tyres ready to use?
  8. Yeah, no, for sure, Gilkes is impressive, he's just on BSN now saying he's never ridden Glasgow before for sure
  9. Some interesting names among the donors I notice... haven't seen any rider names on there though, could be anonymous I suppose
  10. Buster is the owner of Peterborough isn't he... just not the promoter
  11. Yeah, no, for sure... are there no Glasgow riders innit? I thought Connor Bailey was a Glasgow favourite, Pijper... forecast wasn't great for sure
  12. Sadly we'll never know but how many World titles would Darcy Ward have had by now. Bartek has certainly been fortunate in the era he has ridden
  13. Done! If everybody who has viewed this on Twitter donated £0.52 they'd be there already
  14. That's what they say about it on the Hawksbee & Jacobs show on talksport... it's a sport for people who don't like sport
  15. Yes we saw about 10 seconds of it on Discovery+ Tony Rickardsson is behind it you know. And when Jamil was pictured in the crowd waving the trophy aloft he was completely ignored by the commentators. But Tony Rickardsson is behind it you know
  16. Phil Morris said on the podcast that a new promoter was in place but he wasn't going to name who it was... this was directly after talking about how he wanted to be transparent about the King's Lynn situation!
