  1. because it's my right, as you said... honestly though I'll tell you why I'm complaining, it's because since I started supporting Speedway, I have seen the number of clubs in this country half and at this rate your club (assuming your a Brummies fan) will just be another ex-club, it's been on the brink for the last few years, why do you think that is? If you think about it, it's a pretty poor show that you can't attract a crowd to keep the club afloat in a city of 4.5 million people. Now you may think that the best way to attract people is to have a pop at some of them on the internet, the easiest ones to attract, those that know about Speedway and have probably been before. I, myself was blocked on Birmingham's Twitter earlier this season because I had the temerity to comment on the team they sent to Leicester on their opening night... the result, simple, I won't be going to Birmingham again while the current promotion is in charge, they have alienated me, it's a natural human response. I used to work in retail and their mantra was "Customer is King". Your Mr Rogers could do well to work by that mantra as at the moment all he seems to be doing is having a pop at his potential customers because they disagree with his highly successful operating model. Seems like Mr Rogers reads the forums, so I congratulate the promotion on providing the medical cover that really should have been there in the first place but why he felt the need to have a pop of (potential) punters I really can't fathom. As for Wednesday... I'll catch it on BSN All the best Iain
  2. Sadly i can't go on Wednesday, there's some paint on the wall I need to watch dry
  3. Most of what I've seen on here has been about the 2 heats for £10... which of course Rogers didn't mention, he was just sucking up to his bosses in a lot of what he said
  4. Well, having a pop at them ain't gonna bring em back is it?
  5. Same old Eurosport as always a total joke... I'm amazed that so many people on here are taken in by their flim flam
  6. I've been a paying punter at many a match that had been severely held up or abandoned because of inadequate medical cover
  7. When Laurence Rogers says "Keyboard Warriors"... I assume he means paying punters?
  8. yeah... whatever that means I would agree with absolutely everything you say, but honestly so far this year it's consistently been far superior to anything I've seen at BP before... could all be crap for the rest of the season of course
  9. And for the love of all that is holy when are they going to have a super slo mo camera on the start/finish line for close finishes. A big fail for Discovery, it's 2022 and we're still looking at blurred images at 30fps from a camera at an angle!
  10. Yes, i think that was an improvement, in the last couple of years the riders started to hide away in their pit bays, they are now totally open so there is no hiding place.
  11. and even the updates didn't mention half of the racing passes that were made last night.
  12. My preferences are: 1. close match with great racing 2. a hammering with great racing 3. a close match with no racing 4. a hammering with no racing If you think that anything you see other than a number 1 is crap, then I fear you're going to be disappointed the majority of the time. There were plenty of races that went beyond bend 2, maybe you were just in a bad mood last night
  13. The tractor driver nearly fell off his tractor when he went over the starts while grading the track at the interval Leicester riders didn't seem to have a problem with the track though, track record in heat 1 proves that and from the back (twice). The track is the same for ALL riders
  14. So what did you think to the GP then and the new Discovery coverage? Who's going to challenge BZ on a consistent basis?
  15. FWIW here's my take on the new Discovery Events era... Not impressed and overall a bit of a step backwards imo. Why have a presenter who speaks English as a foreign language as a presenter for an English language transmission? Sure have her on the Polish coverage or the pit interview slot but I don't think she can think quick enough in a foreign language to present a live show, perhaps she'll improve I hope so, it's early days. The whole transmission was too loud for me and left me with a headache, it was almost like being there with the noise from the PA system and the racket they played over the replays was grating to say the least. The heart rate monitors... a nice idea, but they can't be accurate surely! If they are I hope they've got 16 ambulances on standby at the track! The telemetry that was starting to be introduced over the last couple of years has now gone, so we now don't know if a rider is using a different bike. None of the so called new innovations were on view, no rider cam, no analysis, no stats, no touch screen analysis. All pretty poor imo and just what I've come to expect from Eurosport Website hasn't been updated with any results yet and it's 10am the following day! Are Monster Energy not now the series sponsor? They seem to be just official energy drink supplier... seems a step backwards to me. Fortunately the on track action was top draw! One swallow doesn't make a summer though, it's good that we're back to 1 night GP's on different tracks in different country's.
  16. What are you talking about? Kelvin Tatum is an experienced commentator, in fact he's probably got more experience now in commentating than he had riding speedway!
  17. If you can call that watering the track, I've done bigger wee's
  18. And producing some fantastic racing once again... Morris passed Wright twice in heat one getting that track record!
  19. The timing is not working half the time, making it even more pointless
