Time to sack Phil Morris?

I don't follow NFL at all but I suspected as much... he probably got mixed up with wrestling -
For commercial reasons they need to get somebody in place that understands commercial reasons

The league table is what the league table is. If you'd bet on the play off fixtures you'd have cause for grievance though... but it's okay, they did it in NFL too How times have changed though, in 1984 when Wiggy (allegedly) got involved in a bit of race fixing it made the back pages of national newspapers... in 2024 on the race fixing's 40th anniversary they fix the pay off fixtures and nobody bats an eyelid! -

Bomber removing his cut out lanyard after he wins a race. 04.2.19 Throttle Control and Cut Out Throttle controls must be self-closing when not held by hand. An ignition cut-out, earthed to the diamond or engine, must be fitted either on the front fork triple clamp (i.e. handlebar plate) or on the right-hand side of the handlebar, as close as is practicable to the throttle. It must stop the engine immediately, by the simple action of pulling a lanyard or a non-elastic string, which must be as short as possible, attached to the rider’s right wrist or mechanic’s right wrist at all times whilst the motorcycle is in motion and/or the engine is running. -
I don't think Kurtz has done anything wrong, on this occasion, has he? He's just come back from injury for his Polish club. If he were to continue to ride for Rybnik while missing Belle Vue matches I would expect to see action taken, but as nothing has been done to Tungate and Lampart I assume the SCB are just letting anything go now.

If they want to know who is playing who, where and when and who is going to win, then maybe they should bid for the WWE Wrestling rights! 🤼♂️ -

I'll try not to shoot the messenger but this whole thing stinks! They could have just stuck by the original cut off date and called it They could have extended the cut off date, as they have, and let it all play out No! They chose the worst crooked option, to what? Appease some tin pot broadcaster who have set back the televised spectacle of Speedway 25 years! Promoting? Don't make me laugh. They don't know the meaning of the word, the only way they "promote" these days is by sticking a few posts out on social media... if you're lucky. -

Almost... Leicester have been given the draw that top spot would have got even though they are currently 2nd with 2 matches to ride... for "commercial reasons" 1st play 4th 2nd play 3rd Sheffield are currently top, Leicester 2nd If they can do this... what wouldn't they do? -

Who actually finishes top or who was given top spot by the crooks that run the sport? Who knows? Or cares anymore? -

It is, I wonder how it compares to others, say a top ten... some home work for you -
Buster's fault Not sure even Buster would stoop so low as to rig the league table!

I wonder if Phil "Patsy" Morris will be pushed in front of the TV cameras tomorrow night to try and justify the actions BSPL? -
Maybe not in the short term but as usual British Speedway is so shortsighted they fail to see the bigger longer term detrimental effect this has on our sport! Reading some of the posts on here, it's already been the final straw for some and I'm having my faith put to the test at the moment... I'm a bloody mug though and the powers that be know that and we'll continue to limp along like this forever.

Absolutely worthless, they'd be better off getting their averages down for next season -

What's enjoyable about watching 15 heats of gate and go Speedway where it doesn't matter in any way what the outcome is? The only jeopardy in this is for Lions to come out of it with no injuries, 75-15 with Lions 50 yards adrift in every race would suit me just fine. -
I don't think Leicester or Ippo would have suggested the solution to a non existent problem that has been implemented
-
... and mushy peas Just throwing it out there but Belle Vue do have to make some money back from the SoN
-
Doesn't really matter... there was not one reason on this planet to alter what had been in the rule book since it was published at the beginning of the season. They should not have gone anywhere near this.
