There doesn't seem to be any minimum standard required. Is there? If I wanted a licence to ride and I've never slung a leg over a bike could/would I get one? And then if I bunged a promoter a brown paper bag full of cash, I'd be in the team!

Dreamboat Phil's promise of integrity and transparency didn't last long did it? Is there or isn't there a rule about fielding competitive teams? If so why enforce it now?

Like I say complicit, nothing to stop him saying something when he left... he chose not to. I'm not angry about it, I just think less of him for it. Like I think less of the Birmingham promotion for it... Rightly or wrongly I expect it from promoters, not the riders though.

It's a very strange dynamic they have then, I noticed it at Leicester when BV were in town, there was no communication or even acknowledgement between them.
