It's funny because the BSN crew spent about half an hour telling us how good it was going to be!
It's madness... you have 1 club calling a meeting off over 24 hours before it was due to start based on an incorrect forecast and another who let all the fans in and call it off without a race being run! All in the space of 48 hours
Eurosport's coverage deteriorated even further last night where most of the ad-breaks were just filled with musical video montages instead of interesting extra content as was fanfared at the start of the season
Was thinking the exact same thing myself while watching last night. It's a particularly poor camera angle that they use for the majority coverage at Wolves and doesn't show the racing in the best possible way
I'm no prude and am not adverse to a bit of effing and jeffing myself... in the right environment though. Would it be acceptable for example for the centre green presenter to swear during his presentation? I think not
If i wanted an incoherent sweary old man in my living room I'd take in the local tramp.
It's no coincidence that Sky binned bin off and BT & Eurosport have never touched him with a barge pole and he seems quite bitter about that.
For me he very nearly spoiled what was otherwise an excellent night off Speedway and didn't add anything to the broadcast rambling on with his incoherent anecdotes during races.
I think it's far more professional than other so called professional broadcasters. And I also think that the people that run it like to think they are running a professional outfit, you can tell that by the investment in new kit, the great comms with customers etc.
I don't think we'll be seeing Havvy on there again in a while
Well he definitely just said bollocked there... ironic really as he spent most of his time on Twitter pre pandemic slagging Kelvin Tatum and Nigel Pearson off for their commentary
Wouldn't surprise me if he gets the hook in the next few heats
