It's okay, I've confused myself with the CLRC lol, Pairs is on the Saturday isn't it, so hopefully Killer will be back on the Sunday at Scunny -

Looks like they've mis-quoted their own story then, "we expect" is far from confirmed and that's just for Drew Kemp... sounds more like Great Expections. I expect Dayle Wood -
Unfortunately if you want Disc+ or TNT you'll have to play a game of brinksmanship and do their little dance of actually cancelling and then wait for the customer retentions to call you... of course they may not actually call you like they didn't with me lol and then you'll either have to eat some humble pie or move elsewhere. Fortunately I am able to get Virgin Media in my area and managed to get my TV (inc Sky Sports), Telephone & Broadband (0.4gb) at a very reasonable £59.99 pm for 18 months and £180 cashback (currently around £100) from TCB and then when WBD pulled their TNT stunt got that free for 5 months, which will see me through the majority of the Speedway season. I assume this will only be a one year thing as TNT have already binned Speedway off once and according to other reports the SGP series is on the verge of collapse with WBD considering pulling out of that early.

I cannot see where the press release mentioned Craig Cook... or when you say "we" do you mean you and the good lady MrsStevePark? -

3 points ain't bang average... it's pish poor! -
Thought it was quite a disappointing crowd last night, especially as it was the first home team outing of the season, it also looked quite low at Belle Vue on Monday, maybe not helped by some of the riders referring to it as "only" the knockout cup, which I have heard a few say. I'm not sure why as it used to be quite a prestigious thing to win and is only 1 of 2 bits of silverware on offer. Listening to Drew Kemp after the meeting you would have thought he'd failed to score, could this be why he's not making the progress that he clearly should be, he scored 7+2, a score he's only managed to better twice in the top league around the Hydroscand Arena! Maybe a visit to a sports psychologist should be in order. Also, this maybe pedantic, but it's what I'm here for, I noticed that when Mr Dickson was being interviewed after the match the sponsor board in the background was still showing Eurosport & Pidcock Motorcycles... neither of which exist anymore unfortunately. Add into this the lack of a 2 minute clock and the possible non use of automated starts (they weren't being used at Dougy's testimonial) you have to wonder what they've been doing over the winter. And before @W9 Lion comes on to answer that, I do know what they've been doing over the winter and that is making adjustments to the track and if what we saw last night is a sign of things to come then that's a big thumbs up 👍. Last nights racing was probably the best I've seen around BP and far better than anything I've seen from the first 2 meetings at BV... bring the SGP to Leicester!

It's a fair point @AFCB Wildcat makes, there were no end of floaters that went to Cardiff, just for the experience. I've taken friends in the past and I was going to meet up with a couple from Cardiff this year and we were all going in. My mum's hairdresser's husband and his mates used to go down from Leicester... even though they don't normally go to Speedway! And that's just me Billy no mates! How anybody can paint a reduction in crowd from 20,000 minimum to 6,500 as a positive is completely beyond me smh. -

Did you see the crowd on Monday night? I think half is a bit ambitious... maybe a third at the absolute best. -

Absolutely they should... but they just don't have to be in a play off system. We've all seen riders giving that extra effort (100%) when the play offs come around, whether that's sustainable over a whole season is a different matter.
