How do you explain the fact that he's put 1.5 points on his average this year if he's so "crap"? Are there many other riders that have improved so much this season? -
That's fair enough, we're all entitled to our opinions... just don't know why you'd come on here and rubbish a podcast you'd not listened to.

A 2022 average of above 5 isn't too bad is it? Put 1 and a half points on his starting average... he'd be knocking on the door of being a heat leader at some clubs! -
After 2 consecutive fiasco's... Sam Ermolenko comes to town

Some miserable old buggers on here... somebody has taken the time and trouble to create some extra Speedway content for fans to listen to, costing him time (and probably money), just comes on here to publicise it and all anybody can do is be negative about it. If you don't want to listen to this FREE podcast, don't download it, move along. Why would you not want to listen to Dan Bewley talk about his maiden GP win and his career in Speedway? How about giving it a listen before condemning it? Come on cheer up fellas, you're better than this

He did very well on Wednesday, much better than I expected... but by my reckoning he's ridden his bike competitively 3 times in the last month -

How many times has Joe been on a bike in the last month? -
This sounds like domestic abuse... you should be ashamed of yourself!

Not really comparable, Poland have proper teams their fans can identify with... we don't know who's going to turn up from one week to the next!

I caught up with the SGP3 last night and it reminded me of the sport I fell in love with in the late 70's... maybe 250's are the way to go?

I can't believe what I've just seen! I've just managed to catch up with this after hearing good reports and I must say it was one of the most entertaining Speedway meetings I think I've ever seen... it was much more like the sport I fell in love with in the the late 70's. I'd love to see a full meeting with the senior's riding these 250cc machines, don't suppose it'll ever happen though. Well done to Axeman jnr!

I was surprised when he went in the first place, he does like to get signed up early though and it's very local

I've just listened to Nigel Tolley on this week's British Speedway podcast and very interesting it was too. A number of things sprang to mind while listening... although he did sound very positive about Birmingham's future it's not anything we all haven't heard before from various promoters at various clubs down the years, the proof of the pudding will ultimately be in the eating. A lot of it, I would suspect, hinges on the "verbal" agreement with the stadium landlords, I just hope their word is as good as their bond when they open their energy bills in October and January! He also said he was very disappointed that they didn't see any benefit from the City hosting the Commonwealth Games. I accept that they couldn't run during the week of the games, as it turns out due to noise issues, which nobody on here mentioned amongst their other fantasy suggestions, but when they could run, the night before the opening ceremony, they put on a run of the mill league match against Poole, if you don't know anything about Speedway then Birmingham vs Poole? So what? Who cares? As it turned out nobody really! I hope Birmingham do make it to the tapes next season and unless he's on a multi year contract at Berwick I can see Chris Harris making a return to Perry Barr.
