  1. After about 5 or 6 races at Poole if your back wheel isn't on the fence you can forget about it
  2. That's right, it's because we don't want to serve up a 1 line track like you have at Poole
  3. Not on the met office app it's not, forecast is for possible light showers on Monday and Tuesday
  4. I know people will cite examples from occasions down the years when competitions have been completed late in the season but since the introduction of the pay offs it seems to be happening EVERY season. Before the pay offs the leagues were often settled long before the final weeks of the season and it was just the KO Cup that got pushed to the end... now more often than not it's the main competition itself.
  5. On a serious note... how on earth are clubs supposed to "promote" their biggest matches of the season at this time of year... it's totally ridiculous!
  6. Nothing wrong with that track, looked good enough to... eat Looked like a lovely chocolate cake
  7. Is anybody going to start the discussion about Wednesday's weather forecast?
  8. I can't work that one out, will he or won't he? Personally i don't think he will, he's often mentioned he doesn't like British tracks... which says a lot about his current performances imo
  9. Will probably be combined now, meetings count for both... a convenient get out
  10. Don't see why not... it's only concussion that keeps you out... I think
  11. It has been very wet in Leicester over the last 2 days with 7 hours of torrential rain yesterday. It's still very wet under foot this morning and hasn't really dried that much. Right decision has been made, we'll have the 2nd leg thank you very much, as we always should have done! Hopefully the skipper will be back by Wednesday.
  12. It looked to me as if Kyle was over riding in both legs of the final for Sheffield, it obviously meant a lot to him. Does it make us stronger? Never great to go into a final without your captain. Do you know who will turn up as your manager tonight?
  13. I think they remove them after the meetings ...Maybe not though according to @False dawn
  14. Just run into November... the precedent has been set
  15. Surely we can only be a short number of hours away from the usual suspect(s) telling us that it's hammering down in Poole and there's no way the meeting could have gone ahead
  16. It was in trouble before that imo... when they changed the name without telling anybody, pretending that it had always been called the Jubilee Trophy
  17. Such royalists... I don't think Glasgow even marked the Queen's passing! They should just front up... no need to bring the Queen's death into it at all, sick!
  18. I think it's pretty sick to bring the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II into the "excuses" for pulling out, I thought Glasgow were better than that. They've already renamed the trophy once, they should have just renamed it to the Queen Elizabeth trophy and got on with it. There is now doubt that any competition that Glasgow are involved in the future that they'll just take their ball home if they don't like the name of it. Pathetic really!
