As there is zero incentive to win the league other than saying you've won the league and the only perceived benefit of winning the league for a rider is extra meetings, then you're probably on to something
Lions & Cubs have qualified for 6 finals over the last 2 years and the home fans have only seen 1! And that's beyond a joke I'm afraid.
Has anybody even come out to apologise? They're too busy just trying to sweep things under the carpet
NDL is a shambles this year
CL & NDL was a shambles last year
Can't remember what happened in 2021, but it was a late start due to covid, so I'll let that go
2019 CL play offs were a shambles
The whole idea of the play offs is to build the season to a crescendo and far too often recently it builds to frustration and ultimately chaos without the firm scheduling of Tv contracts to work to.
It's time to abandon play offs unfortunately for anything other than the top league where Tv demands it
This competition is now about as worthy winning as the Hokey-Cokey Cup that Coventry and Peterborough contested a few years back or the We'll meet again trophy that was ridden for at Wolves last night!
Absolutely, I accept that I live with several tracks on my doorstep, all pretty easy to get to by car, especially Leicester. If 3rd tier Speedway was my only real choice, then I suspect I would probably give it more of a chance
I'm generally not a fan of the NDL and personally it's not something I would pay to watch (not at the current price), maybe because of the word Development being used, as it seems to be a bit of a haven for some riders to fill their calendar. But you do make a compelling case for it to continue
Just seen this on TwitterX:

Looks like Bartek is on some kind of Orlen promotional day with Robert Kubica... the daft thing is though is he's wearing his "Infinite Reality" SGP race suit and not his "Orlen" one he got thrown out of the Danish GP for!!!
Hope he doesn't lose his Orlen sponsorship over this one
That may well have been the case, I live 1 and a half miles from the track and although it came over dark there was no rain. That's not to say there wasn't any at the track... but if the track had been covered on the Friday during the whole day of rain we had, there really shouldn't have been any problem at all starting this match
I really don't know about the drainage but I do know that drying conditions in October ain't what they are earlier in the year with hours of daylight and the strength of the sun etc. There was a lot of rain in Friday and if that's stuck in the shale without those summertime drying conditions it's always going to take longer to dry out
