As good as BSN is for a niche streaming service it doesn't come close to broadcast standard in terms of technical quality, there's no way any broadcaster worth their salt would show any content other than the types of snippets we saw on TNT from their "secondary" matches.

Actually the Chris Harris interview took place after the Super Golden Heat and the Lawson & Cook interviews took place before the trophy presentation. Not everybody is on the vile social media platform that is Facebook and I don't think it's too much to expect, as paying subscribers to the BSN service, to see and hear from the winning (and losing, if they are willing) riders and management instead of watching a firework display, which never comes across great on tv despite broadcasters (not just BSN) always being drawn to them. Generally another good season of coverage though 👍🏻

The highlights option is probably better for appealing to potential punters but I doubt that would come with much money. The TV sports broadcasters want their air time filled and advertisement windows filled and in a lot of cases they are prepared to pay ridiculous amounts of money to do this, that's what a TV deal should/would/could bring.

Worky is a big throttle track though doesn't take so much ability to ride, they'll not improve their technique much around there. Riding Ippo once a year also ain't gonna help much imo.

Maybe those are the reasons why the county championship gets little to no media coverage these days with only the occasional match shown on Sky Sports these days.

Let's be honest though this is pretty pish poor Speedway, yes I know it's good to give the kids a chance and they're all giving it their best efforts etc. I've been trawling through last night's Poole topic while watching this and quite frankly the Speedway tonight is no better than last night and everybody on that topic has gone into meltdown! I find it very much depends on the type of track as to how entertaining these type of junior meetings are. The big easy tracks like Worky, BV & Scunny tend to throw up some good action... I've seen some dross at Leicester where it takes a bit more technical ability to get round and understandably these kids just don't yet have that ability, Ippo is a similar style track to Ippo... having said that Foord & Trigger just had a decent race, they do have a bit of experience though.
