Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

Scott Young, content, production and business operations, WBD Sports Europe. Young continued: βTNT Sports will also continue to bring more content to fans on Warner Bros Discoveryβs free-to-air channel Quest. In 2025, this will include broadcasting every MotoGP Sprint race, adding to existing live Bennetts British Superbikes coverage, a brand-new weekly cycling show covering all key moments of the season, highlights of the Giro dβItalia and La Vuelta a Espana, plus premiere a range of new sports documentaries.β While Speedway, obviously, doesn't seem to get a mention anywhere (he probably doesn't even know he's got it), hopefully it's comparable to the BSB and it'll get shown on Quest. Speedway needs to get back to Sky, tout suite and as soon as the Premiership CEO gets back from Australia he needs to be knocking on their door showcasing the improvements he's made to the TV image. Not sure what it means for the SGP, just another nail in the coffin for it in this country, can't see that going to Sky or any other broadcaster while WBD are balls deep in it. Time to look into getting one of those "special" firesticks -

Maybe they're going to move it again π€ π -
Have a great season, team looks very solid can see the AFA being a bit of a fortress
-
Kvech came mid season also and sometimes decent riders get binned off when a double change is made, didn't that happen to Chris Harris at Leicester the season before last? Having said that it's not really the way to go about team building and Brum seemed more than reluctant to make any team changes last season with Pisspoor Pawlicki almost completing the season.
-
Riders sometimes look to increase their bike time once the season has started especially if they've had a crap start or been binned off by another club, so the rider market may open up a bit

Grand Prix Ticket Sales

I wouldn't be booking any hotels if I were you! -
They seem to draw the line at Eurosport though π I think the Elite League was sponsored by SkyBet for a time during the Sky years wasn't it?
-
Speedway has dabbled with betting companies in the past and nothing has ever really come from it, which is a shame as it looks to be a huge untapped cash cow π for the sport and are effectively the modern day equivalent to tobacco companies, you only have to look at most other sports who have obscure betting companies plastered all over their clothing etc. Victor Chandler used to sponsor Coventry, I'm pretty sure there was some on course betting at a few tracks back in the noughties and Bet365 showed meetings (similar to dog meetings) for a while. Not sure why it didn't work as you'd think it would be a humane alternative to the doggies π Good for Oxford though π°

If (When) he falls off... will he have dropped his gusts (close enough π)
-
He's been a bit injury prone in recent seasons hasn't he?
-
You've certainly been tested in recent years as have Brummie fans
-
Assuming the word fan is shorthand for fanatic... I would suggest it does. You're probably more of a follower of Speedway or an occasional attendee than a "fan"
-
Is that really any way to build loyalty with the fans though? Especially if it's being reported elsewhere. Silence will probably be the order of the day.
-
Birmingham do have form for this... Adam Ellis
-
Tom Brennan?
-
... and so it has started π
-
Let's hope Brum don't sign Artem Laguta or the forum could go into meltdown π€£
-
A decent enough signing, only ever really done 2 seasons over here and never really kicked on and reached the heights that I thought he would, a solid 6 and a half pointer (hopefully). I would suspect that if he's challenging for the No 1 spot Brummies will have had another disaster of a season! Didn't we used to have a "MJJRacingFan" on these forums? Hopefully they'll return π
-
Hope so π€
-
History suggests you should prepare yourself for a massive disappointment π
-
Surely Worrall will end up at brum or Oxford?

Maybe "all" is a bit strong and it's not really on topic but what's happened at Peterborough with the local plan just being totally ignored makes me bloody mad... people are paid thousands of pounds to write these plans and reports and they're so wishy washy that they mean virtually nothing in reality.
-
To cite 2019 as not being in the "recent past" is just using an undefined period of time to do what ever they want. The whole country was in lock down during 2020 and the start of 2021, so to use 2019 as their date seems a little unfair. It doesn't really matter anyway these rules that they allegedly work to aren't worth the paper they're written on as in Peterborough's case with their local plan stating an alternative site must be provided. They're all corrupt!
-
re-sign or resign? lol, you had a lot of Tigers fans worried there!

I hadn't been to Owlerton for many years but started going again occasionally when Leicester were the visitors, now they're in the same league. It seems to me that riders have to be a lot more extreme in their moves to get a passes done these days than the last time I went. Whether that's to do with the track, bikes or quality of rider I'm not sure but there were real heart stopping moments where riders seemed to have to risk everything to make a pass rather than just riding a faster line.
