Just watched the BSN coverage from Thursday and every time they mentioned Peterborough's demise they kept prefixing it with the word "potentially". Buster says definitely everybody else says potentially... something dodgy going on

Make the fixture a challenge and Plymouth forfeit the points. Team line ups like the ones Plymouth have sent on their northern tour does the credibility of the sport no good at all... you have to have some kind of minimum standard surely?

It's a view I suppose... he's seriously suggesting that driving a car is comparable to racing professional competitive motor sport. I can't believe a director of a Speedway club is advocating riders pumping themselves full of steroids/HGH in order to be competitive. Speedway is struggling enough to be taken seriously this would be the final straw for many I would suspect, the media would drop it in a heartbeat for starters. He says Speedway falls into line with sports like athletics or weightlifting, not quite true, it falls into line with almost all other professional sports. He's also suggesting that riders are required to walk in a straight line or something before a meeting to test whether they're "fit" to ride. I think he's had one dram too many before writing that post!

Dickson all day long for me, he's had a bad year this year but is a hell of a lot better than some of the dross we've had over the years. He may have got a few things wrong this season but I think his current role also extends to being general manger which he seems quite competent at. Don't forget he guided us to our only ever league title and that has to be worth something

Was just saying this the other night, at Wolverhampton we had 2 go down in separate incidents. I can't remember a season like it for members of the crowd going down

I can't imagine why 2 clubs in such similar situations get such different treatment. As far as I'm aware there hasn't even been any kind of press release on the BSPL website about Peterborough's imminent demise

Out of the cup in the first round, home season over by August the 28th, failed to qualify for the play offs after being 2nd in the league, 2 riders suspended for providing non-negative drugs tests, captain sacked... "But we’ve still had a good season" I'd hate to see what a bad one looked like (Peterborough & Lynn fans, please move along)
