To be fair MJJ did look quite impressive at Leicester especially as he'd never seen the track before

I can't understand it, everybody should have a 2nd tyre ready before the meeting, if it doesn't get used, just use it for the next meeting, it's not rocket science is it?

Nice to see Steve Worrall showing some form... I've never rated the track as being one that really required any skill as a Speedway rider. Yes it's entertaining and the racing can be good but it's all a bit random for my liking, you can watch riders riding the same line on 2 consecutive laps and 1 lap they'll make a pass and the 2nd lap they'll get passed... it's the Speedway equivalent of Whirley Wheelers for me.

They even had one of the promoters in the BSN studio yesterday and nobody thought to put the question to her of "Where is Craig Cook?"... his absence was explained during commentary as "one thing or another" 😂

It's why I stopped going to these events, waiting around for 20 minutes for riders to just change tyres completely ruins the event for me, something that could be ready before the meeting even starts!

Probably at home tucking into their dinners it took so long to run!

How often have we seen these pairs events ruined by events in the final meaning the result is a forgone conclusion?!? Personally I'd just make it a winner take all final i.e. whoever wins the race. ... and 55 minutes to run the last 3 races is ridiculous!

June's a bit long to run without a rider isn't it? Maybe a short term with a Dougy or Picko and then Nicholls? But probably not feasible worth Berwick being a Saturday track (do they still run Saturdays?). Is Thomas Jorgensen fit these days?

W9 LionStalker... He'll be quite a signing for the team that gets him... has worked under Mr Dickson before... quite successfully 🏆 I'm a bit surprised that Oxford didn't wait for him, especially in a league play off system where you don't need to operate at 100% for a full season.

What's the deal with Scott Nicholls? Is he: a) retired? b) not "starting" the season due to injury? c) "out" for the season due to injury? Could he be an option with R/R to start the season. Because if Cook does by some miracle start the season there's not a snowball in hell's chance he'll finish it.

If anybody was serious about it (the FIM) there'd be regular subsidised competion to encourage more women into speedway, this is just a token gesture in the hope of grabbing some media attention isn't it? Like the SGP events held in Australia over the winter and the SGP4. You can't just hold one off annual events and hope to breed a new generation of rider, there needs to be proper investment in a WSL.
