  1. To be fair the car park was in the best condition I've seen it in ages... they should have ran it out there! If you're canceling matches with tracks like the one in the photo Lynn may as well pull the shutters down now!
  2. Who was? I'm currently sat in the car park, there's not a single puddle! Rainfall radar indicates the weather had passed through
  3. You only have to look at the British Youth Championship competitors from 10 to 15 years ago to see how poor the youth development has been in this country. Some people look to Lambert, Bewley & DJ Woffy riding in the GP's and will claim it to be a success. I wonder if there has ever been any analysis done as to why 90% of these competitors chose to give Speedway up after having gone to all the trouble of acquiring the setup to compete... let alone having the gonads to swing their leg over a motorbike with no brakes! Especially in a country whose leagues rely so very heavily on foreign and doubling up riders.
  4. I totally get that riders can aggravate injuries upon making comeback. The SCB don't seem to accept this though unless the rider is injured in the UK, make their comeback in the UK and aggravate their injury in the UK... Or they didn't in Covatti's case as he got a 28 day suspension for less. It's not a good look in the Kurtz case though. At least Musielak fronted up and said he won't be riding in the UK for a while.
  5. I've posted the details a while back or on another Belle Vue thread, but he's already ridden twice abroad and missed the next Aces match twice, 3rd time lucky tonight
  6. Nah... Unfortunately I think he's finished at PL level
  7. I think prior to it being screened on both occasions he did not have the correct helmet cover on
  8. Once it's careless, twice is stupidity https://www.eurosport.com/speedway/speedway-gp/2024/leon-madsen-was-disqualified-from-heat-5-in-warsaw.for-wearing-the-wrong-helmet-colour_vid2136207/video.shtml
  9. I'd be more worried by those numbers if it was his 2nd or 3rd season, but as it is it's his first visit to many of the away tracks
  10. Rain forecast for 4pm, will Buster have his tractors out?
  11. I like the sound of the first and second points, could add a bit of jeopardy mid season, not so sure on the last point though, when the federation suits and money men get involved you get strange decisions.
  12. It was shown what a complete waste of time qualifying is yesterday with the fastest finishing stone last in the GP. Also, I wonder if there has been a GP season where the leader has been so far in front at the halfway stage?
  13. Can we just stop talking about this meeting please and let it drop it's way down the forum into oblivion. I'm trying to forget about it!
  14. But Matt Marson, Doyle Wood, Arran Butcher & Sonny Springer are all competing in the NDL, presumably with SCB licences?
  15. Well, at least it looks like the England management's deciding has been made for them if DJ Woffy has indeed broken his elbow and they won't have to drop the Captain... at least he can be on the decks on the centre green?
  16. Is that including the 1 month mid season shut down?
  17. No, because it's an infinitely better race track, better prepared, with many lines, inside and out.
  18. If you're expecting any kind of in depth post meeting analysis and reaction, then sadly you're following the wrong sport
  19. He already has... twice! They seem to love it though, go figure
  20. Did you watch quali? He was at his authoritative demanding best
  21. See what a move to a British club does for you, well done to Fred absolute class and commitment (Maybe every rider needs a blonde Scandinavian woman stroking their back in the pits before a GP). Zmarzlik needs to get himself to Leicester before it's too late for his championship Can I just ask a question... how many of you that attend Speedway immediately start looking around at the crowd at the end of a race? No, me neither, so why do the TV cameras continue to do it? They miss so many after race incidents. Focusing in on people with flags! I hope DJ Woffy ain't too badly injured, suspected broken elbow, let's hope it's not his crossfader curve control arm and he can be fit for the British GP after party
