Because Buster had to start paying the bills instead of Brady?

Personally I think it's good to see this kind of signing again... which seems to have been sadly missing since Covid/Brexit. A lot of the riders that were coming over here in the past now opt for the Polish U24 league, Aussies included.

King's Lynn v Leicester 20/07/23

There does not need to be passing for it to be a good race, competitive racing can be just as good, 2-3 seconds slower than normal is still pretty fast I would say, often slower can appear faster if the riders are all close together and not strung out around the track. Doesn't need a dirt line to have passing, Bomber did most of his passing on the inside -

Saw that and it almost looked like Klindt apologised to Fricke after the race! -

Decided to come over for this one to help Buster in his "hour of need" and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it (we did win though!), there was a sprinkling of passing thanks mainly to Bomber and Lambert but the racing was generally fast and close, which will do me. Not sure about @Mimmo's take on Heat 4 as Kemp seemed to go down on his own for me and got up and cleared the track. Seems to me that a lot of KL fans don't know what they've got, an excellent facility for Speedway, a good race track, not as good as it used to be admittedly, with great viewing from anywhere in the stadium... you're just one rider short of a half decent team, the trouble is that rider is often different from match to match -
I take your point about budget but all teams are built to a points limit and generally all within a point or 2 of each other, some how he manages to set an environment where riders you'd never dream of being any good coming up with those goods throughout an entire season

It's tricky as a lot of managers have to work with what they're given and it's whether they can add any value to that I think you've obviously got to say Middlo, his track record speaks for itself & and I may be biased but Stewart Dickson, they both seem full of enthusiasm and generally get riders punching above their weight. Obviously Pete Adams is another one, maybe not so much recently but he also has a strong track records at team and individual level.

Oxford were there for the taking tonight but Glasgow just didn't have the heat winning fire power to take advantage of Oxford's injuries. Can't see Tigers seriously challenging this year unless there's some kind of reshuffle -

Can't help but think Brennan has plateaued a bit this season, maybe even gone backwards a little. Hope he can turn it around next season -

Unless they're going to water the inside of the track they're completely wasting their and everybody else's time -

To be fair I'm not sure it should just slide away like it did, looked like it was on rails, lucky really it didn't slide away from somebody who needed it. -

Good effort from the track staff... replacing the whole 4th turn air fence quicker than it takes to change a tyre at Glasgow -

When the air bags go pop, are they repairable at all or do they go in the skip? Bomber to go for me -

Better for it to collapse i would think, disperses the energy, it's when they go under it that there's generally trouble -

I don't know... the obvious thing to do would be to have a large screen showing the broadcast with the audio piped through the PA system at the track -

I'd love to go to Peterborough on Monday as I've hardly been this year now Leicester fixtures have often clashed... but after experiencing the televised meeting at Leicester this year I'm just not going to do it, far too much hanging around with absolutely nothing going on. -
One can only hope!

You only have to look at the extra "incentives" promoters put on for TV matches to mitigate the fact that it's on TV and there will be long delays for those that attend... in over 20 years of TV coverage... except from the occasional reduction in admission by some clubs, nothing!
