Belle Vue v Ipswich March 24th KOC
IainB replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Morally, if everybody knows the rules at the start of the season, then I think it's fine, when the play offs are fiddled at the end of the season that's where things start to get iffy... but don't get me started on all that again! -

I see the The Competition and Markets Authority have blasted Ticketmaster about the pricing of the Oasis tickets... wait until they hear about the SGP at the NSS! -

It's a strange one isn't it, he's been around for quite a while now and has never really had a break through unlike Tom Brennan and Dan Thompson -

I don't know about bottle or confidence but he definitely has the style, he looks very comfortable, tidy and in control on a bike to me. -

I think the first TNT match is King's Lynn vs Oxford on Monday the 28th of April, not sure if a schedule has been released after that. -

They could literally have "The Masked Bandit" on parade and get the thousands on the terraces chanting: Take it Off! Take it Off! Take it Off! And then reveal if it's Craig Cook... Or Rider Replacement for the season. -

That's it, it was to do with bike covers or something wasnt it, at least that was Cook's side of the story. Either way, not the first time he's done this. He still turned out for his CL club though, but who knows this time? -

That's what press & practice day is for... it's just a shame that 1 particular rider didn't show and then went on to only score 2 points, you reap what you sow, maybe he thought it wasn't worth it as he'll be off by the end of next month. Fail to prepare... prepare to fail! -

Oh stop complaining! ๐ ๐ -
okay, thanks, that's good to know, that's generally what I do when going to concerts in London, but there I can be sure that the underground will be running 24/7. I'll look into that, thanks ๐

I must say the parking "issue" really does make me think twice about going to Birmingham, I only went the once last year and had to pay ยฃ3 for the privilege of parking on the gypo car park. The One Stop was a perfect solution for me and most others in previous years, so it's a shame that the promotion couldn't come to some arrangement with them as it seems that some say that this is possibly still usable. Like I said in an earlier post I nearly parked on-street last time I went but saw a load of signs on lamp posts that I didn't recognise that looked like they could be parking restrictions so didn't chance it. PS. Incidentally I'm going to Villa Park in June to see GnR, I've never been before so any advice on parking for that would be greatly appreciated, I would call Axl but he may put the phone down laughing ๐๐

MCC want to see it a success so much it's not even got a mention on their "What's on" section on their website https://www.visitmanchester.com/whats-on/sporting-events/ If you want to get hammered and "socialise" then it's probably best to go to the local offy and then on to Crowcroft Park where you can while away the hours litter picking. ๐ -

Cook apparently hasn't told anybody anything... according to Stewart Dickson it was Cook's dad that called Dickson to deliver the news.
