I hope all those people that wouldn't pay £23 for a ticket at Cardiff are crying into their Hotpots 😭 -
Astonishing to see that Birmingham seem to have totally ignored their own press & practice day on their website!

I'm not defending the pricing, especially as we don't know what the prices are yet but you have to bear in mind that a lot of things have pretty much doubled in price over the last few years or certainly increased by more than the headline inflation figures that are produced. This year I'll be paying £100+ to watch Iron Maiden and GnR, £50+ to watch Ghost, Extreme & Volbeat, that's quite an expensive year and annoying that they're all touring in the same year. The difference is I didn't just watch a similar event consisting of many of the same participants last night for £26. The SoN ticketing worked out at £30.75 per meeting for me in the imaginatively named South Stand. £40-£50 per ticket seems a comparable price to me compared to those bands above that nobody will have ever heard of (maybe not Extreme) but everybody will have their limits... £200+ for Black Sabbath absolutely shattered mine and therefore I'll not be going... I'll get over it. -
What a Pro! 👏

It's called economies of scale, first of all they've got to turn a profit and will have costs to cover, content rights, staffing etc. and all that with barely anybody watching it, compared to Netflix or Opus sport, you're not comparing apples with apples. Personally I also find £15 outrageous for a stream which is why I've never bought one and prefer to "just" watch the stuff included in the pass or attend live (which I am able to do if something takes my fancy). I've never been into the PPV single events and have never paid for any Boxing or Sky Box Office events and I can't see myself ever doing it, I don't feel as though I've missed out on anything.

... and don't forget the parking restrictions on the supermarket car park -
Yes, with a rather insensitive message... "we're doing some work on the site"! Yes! You're knocking a perfectly good stadium down!

Eurosport, terrible professionalism.

I only saw Adams riding angry once and it was one of the most memorable rides I've seen in all of my years watching Speedway, it was at Coventry and I think the Start Marshal had upset him, Adams missed the start but rode about a foot away from the rider in the lead for the whole 4 laps, from memory he didn't get by, which probably says it all really. If he'd ridden more often with that intensity he may have achieved more.

Having looked at his record I tend to agree with you. When he was at his very best, there were few better, was he at that absolute top top level often enough? Probably not for me
-
As the rider of his era I'd like to see him learn English and do more meetings outside of Poland to promote the sport internationally or there'll only be Speedway left in Poland. World Champions in the past have generally had a responsibility to promote the sport through their position. You don't have to commit to a league, just show up once in a while in various open meetings across the world.
