Probably not that different, it all comes down to money, I would say it's less than 50/50 that Workington Speedway will survive

So the Comets again entertain the Glasgow Tigers after the rained off meeting two weeks ago, all we can do is go for the win as the aggregate score is too much to make up. Good luck Worky, is this the last Speedway meeting at Workington, going to be an interesting AGM.......... Weather should be ok but probably going to be a cold one. Speedway, April to September anyone?

Might be a few more to follow Plymouth, Berwick , Workington.

Tungate was is own worst enemy took the Glasgow rider wide and caused the crash in my opinion , from then on he was poor to put it mildly agree about Starke seems to be the shadow of the rider he was. An enjoyable day out at Glasgow , the racing could have been better not helped by crashes and re runs, we had to leave before ht 14 to catch or train connection. Why no 50/50 draw ? Oh Mason rode quite well and was good value for his points haul.😎

Yes very strange only 3 riders in ht 15, some good races last night with Kenneth Hansen the star of the show The Bears kept it close in the first half of the meeting but ran out of steam later.An all round good performance from the comets but I can see us struggling to beat Glasgow next week if all the boys are not on top form. Good entertainment trying to catch the rabbit on the rugby pitch!!All turned out well and he was released outside.... I hope Crowd looked to be quite poor , maybe 600 at best? Speedway journeyman got a mention Halifax Tiger

So the Comets complete their PL fixtures with this meeting against the Redcar Bears, if the Comets win by enough it will see them go up to seventh in the League. Hopefully it will be a dry Saturday night and a good turn out of fans.

Dump the TR rule Get out of the Gospeed contract if possible. All tracks/clubs to be run/promoted to a set standard, some clubs may suffer ... Too many riders going missing, double up/down, Swedish league/Polish league/Danish league/under 21, Long track, GP qualifiers. What,s the answer...........? Stop ripping the fans off!!

I'm sure I heard PK live on Sky a few years back say the F word. Doesn't bother me really... Does set a bad example to youngsters though, although they probably hear worse in the school yard😐 On second thoughts yes it does bother me 😕

Reports in the Speedway Star and the local press indicate a uncertain future for Workington Speedway.

So the comets are up against the Tigers from Glasgow with very little chance of pulling back 39 points😕😕 . So it will just be about getting a win.... In other news weather does not look great!!
