Been very busy over the last few days, if the promoters can’t see what’s coming they must be very blinkered. oh the next club to go.....we all know that one.

It’s only football not real sport.

The realisation that fans will only put up with so much.

Because it is inevitable .......falling crowds over the last 5-10 years at least , anyway it’s not the promoters fault it’s the fans fault for not flocking to the stadiums.

Sad day for Rye House and their fans, does not bode well for next season and this season also. As others have said just the tip of the iceberg regarding club closures. I did say when Belle Vue got the go ahead to run at the new stadium .....What will the new league look like.

So it feels like the 2018 season is just about to start when the Comets are up against the Berwick Bandits for this Friday evening clash that starts at 7:30pm. As far as I am aware the Comets will be at full strength, not sure about the Berwick line up. A league campaign that will be squeezed into about two months, unless we qualify in the top four.

Agree but as I said prior arrangements, the British leagues need to change if this is to be stopped by telling riders it’s the British club that has priority, many will leave Britain and ride in Poland , Denmark or Sweden.
