Things that should have been done years ago are slowly getting through to promoters!, but many fans have long since left disillusioned by the sport.

Can’t remember the details , something like gradually increasing the loading (?) on riders doubling up.

5 year plan to gradually phase out doubling up .

All ifs and buts, engine failures, falls, injuries.......if Dan Bewley was fit.....all part of Speedway.

Sheffield and Somerset Looking good so far, early days though

Not far away but cannot see Lambert travelling up to Workington again.

No surprise really, big changes for next season , hopefully we can keep Dan Bewley from last years team .

Can see big changes from last years team, the promotion hinted at 3 or 4 from last year will not be back , so with two of last years team already signed.....

This will always be the case unless there is strict pay guidelines, even then sponsorship comes in to play, location of nearest airport and race night can influence a riders choice of where he wants to ride, there is the real point “ where he wants to ride”.

At the recent AGM was the fixture fiasco of last season addressed and if so what steps will be taken to stop any repeat next year?

Riders come, riders go, can’t really blame riders for going after the best deal for themselves. “Would you like to work for my company for a £50k salary or another company for £38k salary.” Not really helping the current situation regarding clubs staying solvent and reducing costs for all but clubs have different budgets and sponsors.

Workington listed as running along with Somerset and Leicester in the second division plus two other clubs to be announced. ipswaich and Peterborough to the top league

So the Championship teams (Second division whatever the BSPA come up with) in 2019. Lakeside : Does not look likely to be running, could be at a new venue or Rye House? Workington: Very little chance of running, will need a big cash injection. The stadium looks to have a limited run of about three years? Peterborough: Up for sale but been bought already according to reports. Glasgow : Running in 2019 but has run up a six figure loss. Redcar: Up for sale? Edinburgh: Looks Likely to be running but from reports has a limited run at its present location. Ipswich: Everything is good and seems set to run. Sheffield: Similar to Ipswich. Berwick: Up for sale. Scunthorpe: Threatened to pull out last year if I remember correctly but seem set to run next year. Newcastle: Definite to run in 2019. Apologies in advance for any errors but does not make for good reading.
