In the Speedway Star this week Tony Jackson seemed quite hopeful that Speedway would return in 2020, personally I don’t share his optimism.

Speedway in 2020 was never going to happen, unless a multi millionaire came in and built a track from scratch.

In an interview with Chris Morton in this weeks Speedway Star he emphasised that promoters must put the fans first and foremost giving them value for money and to be treated properly .

Never been to Prague but recommend Torun, trying Warsaw this year.

Agree with this post, with the greatest of respect to Mr Godfrey but he seems to be out of touch with what has happened to British Speedway, the problems have been highlighted by fans fo years. Regarding the fixture pile ups at the end of the season , the same thing happens almost annually.

Sounds like two new promoters could be the ones to take over from Ford after this season.
