  1. Not many days left in October to complete three finals and the League fixtures, the Championship is turning into a damp squib rather than the finale of the season.
  2. Cannot see Worky coming back from this , especially without Ty Proctor.
  3. Reading the report on the BSPA site last night from Rye House it seems that Rasmus took another knock but kept on racing despite some discomfort! Whatever happens in the next few meetings this years Comets team have been fantastic, fixture farce, injuries and rain offs, for those about to race we salute you. A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF .
  4. Light rain forecast for most of the day, due to stop around 5:00pm
  5. Great from Worky tonight with a depleted team , hope Ty is ok.
  6. Once again the paying public suffer...….Speedway in the UK.
  7. The first meeting in this double header versus Lakeside is the second leg of the Championship Shield trophy cup medal medallion locket, so by Friday night we will know what sort of lead (?) the Hammers have to bring to Derwent Park. The second meeting is a League fixture the abandoned one from a few weeks ago but one we must complete , if nothing else but to prove the professionalism of the sport. Such a shame the last meetings that are vital for the Comets are all finals and are squeezed into a few days in October when really the League fixtures should have been completed by August , leaving September and worst case scenario October free for the finals. Hope Rasmus is fit and well for the last weeks of the season, rider of the year for the Comets. Good luck Worky.
  8. Agree, very well done to concerned, where would we be without you.
  9. First of all, hope Rasmus is ok. Commiserations to the many travelling Glasgow fans, some of the best fans in Speedway, safe journey home. Wow another nail biter of a meeting, well done to all the lads rode their socks off, man of the match Mason Campton, take a bow. Still in a daze!! Three finals to get through but limited days in October left.. Once again well done the Comets.
  10. The BSPA should answer the questions about the fixture debacle, this year , well other years to but they seem destined to close tracks rather than try and help them , surprisingly it’s their own business they are destroying, couldn’t make it up!
  11. Looking tough for Worky this evening, Glasgow looking stronger than the Duke of Edinburgh .......
  12. Not an ideal situation to run two meetings in a day , this will surely have an impact on traveling fans.
  13. This is assuming that Saturday night at Derwent Park is rained off........but the weather forecast for Workington is rain all day Friday and Saturday .
