The potential is certainly there to win the League with Brennan, Basso, Bailey and Hume looking to improve, if Cookie, Oyster and Nicol can maintain there average there is every chance of success.
Agree Cook will probably average 7.00 as a minimum for Sheffield probably more like 7.5 plus , also Sheffield have a strong top five who. can all pull their weight.
Im sure Mr Godfrey and Mr Chapman are very hard working chaps and have their best interests at heart but the road Speedway is going it is not sustainable in its present form.
Do not know how it could be implemented in Speedway but clearly the sport is not in a good place , ok a few tracks opening Northside, Oxford but the overall state of the leagues in Britain is not good
Look at it this way, riders get dropped during the season from clubs sometimes through no fault of there own because the numbers dont add up and have no other club to join, sometimes riders do not get paid by clubs,
