So its a change to Sunday afternoon racing this weekend which sees the Comets go home and away against the Bandits from Berwick. Workington have guests Erik Riss and Simon Lambert for Craig Cook and Tate Ziscke.

Very good afternoon of racing at Workington against Redcar when all the riders seemed to enjoy their days racing . Workington got the win and Redcar got the bonus point though a home win looked to be going against us mid meeting . Good to see a large contingent of Bears fans at Northside with their banners and flags . Man of the match for the Comets goes to the flying Finn , superb from Antti . As the Belle Vue colts manager said in a recent podcast “ A successful meeting is when all 14 riders go home safe and well “.

Great fighting display from the Comets last night Redcar were well worth the win but the Comets can be pleased to keep it to 10 points so will be hopefully in the hunt for the bonus point today! As previously said Batch was superb last night and looked fast and comfortable on the track. Also thank you very much to Jordan Jenkins for his fine performance .

The Comets side this week go looking for League points after last weeks home defeat from the Poole Pirates but its another tough meeting against the Redcar Bears. Its a much changed Workington side with Ace Pijper in for Claus Vissing (personal reasons ) and Leon Flint is the guest for the injured Tate Zischke , also making his home debut is new signing Paul Starke. Meanwhile Redcar have James Pearson in as a guest who can on his day go very well around the Northside Arena.

I feel sorry for some of the posters on here .
