In a late change to the League structure Workington move up to the Premiership : Dan Bewley Nicolai Klindt Rene Bach Craig Cook Claus Vissing Sam McGurk Adam Roynon. Och well
-
I personally would like to see Rene back but can’t see it happening , more chance of Vissing or Jorgensen I would say.

On the whole the 2023 season has been a success in the NDL and an enjoyable experience watching the lads home and away. I think the move to the Championship has been to a degree forced on the promotion with the potential demise of the NDL and the lack of teams in the other Leagues . I can only hope the increased costs to the management and fans in the Championship do not harm the clubs future , with rider costs and entry fee of around £20 in the Championship in 2023. It will need a good support from sponsors fans and volunteers to make the club succeed in the future .

I heard Rene Bach Bacon .

Hope Birmingham get sorted out but this leaves the Premiership in an almighty mess if Birmingham do not move up , unless there are a couple of tracks going to rise out of the ashes?

Glasgow, Edinburgh , Workington , Berwick...

Best wishes Max Perry for a quick recovery.

Well thats the Worky team sorted but I think it would be over the points limit.
-
Sad that this finale looks like not been run this season.

On the gate prices 2023: Berwick £20 Birmingham £20 Edinburgh £18.50 on line Glasgow £20 Oxford £22 Plymouth £20 Poole £19 Redcar £20 Scunthorpe £20

£18-20 I think , £20 at Glasgow , a steep rise from NDL prices for Worky fans
-
I think. Connor will be at Glasgow next year but I would be very happy to see him back in Comets colours next season .

Must be expecting a massive crowd. -
I thought Oxford might have been asked to move up a division with the Premiership being short of teams , maybe Birmingham will move up but still leaves them short of at least one team I would have thought.

I had mixed feelings when the move to the championship was announced yesterday , I have enjoyed this year with these young lads we have had in our team and think they may be lost to the sport If there is no Third League of some description. i must admit I did not have any interest in the “ third division” when Workington were in the championship back in 2018 but there seems to be a real camaraderie with the boys this season that does not always exist with some teams . I hope many of this years team can be in next years line up , this would mean a weaker championship but maybe that is a good thing. One thing I do know Is the promotion at Northside have put a lot of work in to making this season a success , so well done to Andrew Bain , Steve Lawson and the many people behind the scenes who work tirelessly every week.

Tough on the likes of Magic, Dudek and Fricke but its good to see some new faces in the competition. -
Dilemma , most riders have got used to riding in at least two Leagues in the UK and other Leagues across Europe to make Speedway pay, even the riders who are riding solely in the UK are used to riding in two Leagues plus getting guest payments, some have jobs but will work around Speedway when not riding.
